Google Messages is unstable

I have/had 13gb of text messages/pics/videos that I wanted to remove from my phone to clear up space in my S23.

I picked the text chat that held the 13gb of memory. Hit the delete button and it moved into the trash bin within seconds. No problem.

I then try to permanently delete the text chat from my phone and Google Messages suddenly became unstable and for 12 hours now, I haven't been able to open Google Messages properly.

Google Messages opens as a black screen. I sometimes open and close it multiple times and it manages to open into the actual app but then it becomes unstable and doesn't open any messages and becomes unstable again. I try the same thing again and I can go into my Google Messages Account but when I try hitting the trash folder, it becomes unstable and won't open it. Haven't tried any other setting option. And if I manage to open the app again after is "working", it stops working properly again.

I cannot send or receive messages since it I started the deleting process.

The memory is still on my phone and it hasn't reduced at all.

I tried clearing the cache and restarting my phone and it won't open the app properly. The clear data button is not highlighted so it doesn't allow me to press it. I have forced stop Google Messages and the problem still persists.

Anyone work at TransWest Mobility in Seattle, Washington?

I am thinking about moving to another state but curious to know how this place is? (Still looking at other areas and states). More specifically Redmond, Washington because that is where they are hiring. Looked at the home prices and the ones being sold are close to or more than a million dollar homes. Where exactly do people commute where is cheaper home prices and are not in a ghetto area?

What keeps your mind occupied while driving?

So I have worked for public transit (City bus) for 11 years. I am literally dead bored while driving. I know every single stop, route, familiar with bus length, width, dealing with passangers, etc. But I can not stress it enough that I am constantly day dreaming. Zero preventable accidents from me for 11 years. So just cuz I say I day dream, don't mean I won't snap back into reality from my mind.

What keeps you active that is positive? Not using devices because we aren't allowed to listen to music or use any electronic device while on the driver seat.

Has to be while driving, sitting those 3 minutes on the driver seat, etc.

Steam Link internet lag

When we got Verizon Fios about six months ago, my Steam Link worked perfectly. It consistently showed a full 4-bar connection and allowed me to stream games at the highest quality settings without any lag. I mainly use it for single-player games so I can play away from my computer.

Over the last couple of months, I've noticed the connection strength has dropped to 3 bars and never seems to reach 4 bars anymore. I haven't changed any network settings, and my setup is the same as before. My PC is connected directly to the router with an Ethernet cable, while the Steam Link has always been connected through Wi-Fi. I do occasionally move the Steam Link between different TVs, but that was never a problem in the past.

Previously, I could stream anywhere in the house with a stable connection, even when multiple people were using the internet. Now, I occasionally get a red network warning indicating that the connection may be lost, and I sometimes experience lag or connection issues.

Because nothing has changed on my end, I'm wondering if a recent Steam Link update may have affected network performance. I'd like to determine whether this is a Steam Link issue or if there could be a problem with my internet connection, router, or PC.
