If you feel dizzy or poor display behavior
Hi, recently I realized one thing might be the reason why you might *feel* the display is not as good as you wish.
You might have a bit of astigmatism.
I have 2.00 diopters of astigmatism in my left eye, with an axis between 11 and 12 o'clock. And when I use this phone, sometimes, I feel the letters are not very clear.
However, if I rotate the phone very slightly, everything will be just fine. I did a few tests, if I close my left eye or just hold my phone slightly non-align to that axis, the display is good enough.
I am not sure whether it is a real thing, you might have a try with your friend also have astigmatism to confirm, or you could have a test with a doctor.
