Could the word Arsenokoitai ('man-bed' or 'man-bedder') from 1 Cor 6:9 be open to meaning women who seduce men? If not, please explain the grammar here.
yes this is one of those kinds of posts, sorry if this gets asked a ton.
I am not familiar with greek nor do I know how to go about analyzing root words for a language I don't understand. But I do know that this much debated word translates literally to "man-bed" or "man-bedder" and that it is a very vague word. I was thinking today that this could also make sense if it was about women seducing men since adulterer comes right before it. i.e. paul is saying "the ones who do the adultery (men) and the ones who bring men into their bed (women)".
Obviously I am open to being corrected here. Thanks!
