I haven't seen anyone talking about post-patch Colossal Ancients -- Smiter's only?
A friend of mine message me last night while I was watching West Wing with my girlfriend and said he's in over his head against the new buffed Ancients and asked if I could join. I thought, sure this should only take a minute and I'll be right back to watching... yeah that didn't happen.
He's a level 94 ES and I'm a level 96 blood boil build and though I'm not super effective damage-wise against single targets, I was previously at least a great enough distraction to help separate them for the 2 seconds he needed to kill them pre patch. Well. They wiped the floor with us both. I danced around the arena trying to separate them and stay alive. Merc died instantly. And for the first time ever, I saw my Hephasto TAKE REAL LETHAL DAMAGE.. and he inevitably died. We had to retreat until he could get a smiter to come in and save the day.
Are they too strong now? Any new methods popping up on day 2?
