Weird Experience - Seattle
Ordered groceries last night and the shopper assigned was a middle-aged woman. Order was going fine, they even communicated re specific replacements, until they got to delivery. I paid for priority, the app reflected them arriving here around the time they should have (their location showed “arriving now”), and then nothing for 45 minutes. Around this same time, a car did pull up where their location indicated, but it was a young man. No one got out of the vehicle. He appeared to dose in the front seat the whole time on and off. Tried to message driver multiple times with no response.
Contacted support and was told they have no way of contacting their driver (??) and couldn’t help me until it was marked delivered. After a few mins talking to support the order was magically marked delivered with no photo (how was this possible) and they said it was delivered (I was on my porch the whole time, it was not). The guy in the car eventually seemed to wake up fully and drive off, and the back of his car had a delivery driver bumper sticker. What happened? Stolen account? They’re not even offering anything more than refund despite messing up my family’s Sunday evening. (Spent over an hour managing the delivery/support, never got groceries). I suspect maybe it is a purchased account and the guy was doing drugs and nodded off but idk! How do you get actual support from support?
