Looking for a better version of the COSRX The 6 Peptide Skin Booster serum

I have used quite a few bottles of these and I'm wondering if there are any better serums that are similiar and more potent on the market. I use C-vitamin in my morning routine as well so it can't "crash" with that.

I got the wax out of my ear and I can hear colours now

I made this post a few days ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/earwax/comments/1vk198b/i_bought_an_ear_camera_and_looked_in_my_ear_for/

Decided to use some ear drops for the ear, it's just oil that is supposed to soften up the wax. Used it for 2 days, and the wax did not come out by itself, and I also tried to flush my ear in the shower with no luck. Now, 10 minutes ago, my ear started to itch like crazy and I used a q-tip just to scratch the inside of the ear. I then got some wax on it, and decided to look with the camera. The wax had loosened up!! I managed to pull it all out in one piece! I don't have anything to compare the size with, but it was not small (but not huge or big either lol).

I feel SO MUCH BETTER. I can FEEL the difference. I can HEAR the difference. And I'm very excited to see if I still will hear the sound of footsteps in snow when I go to bed in the evening. My ear feels more "open" and it's just amazing.

I wanted to share my joy. Attaching a picture of how my ear looks now (I have not cleaned the lense so the camera is a bit blurry I see now, sorry about that) and the wax. Best purchase I have made in years, so happy!

My skin does not like moisturizer, and my favorite is discontinued

This sounds strange but I swear my skin does not like moisturizer. I have tried many different types - gels, creams, lotions, cheap and expensive brands and every single one of them just sit on my skin and makes my face feel sticky and oily. It does not matter what cleanser I use, what serums I use, it is always the same result and have been this way for years (since I was in my early 20s, now I'm 31). I have "elephant skin", I rarely break out or get a reaction to products. Haven't had acne since my early 20s.

First Aid Beauty Oil-Free Moisturizer was the only one that worked for me. It left a semi-matte look on my skin and it took several hours before my skin felt sticky. I managed to buy a few tubs when they discontinued it, now I'm soon running out of my last one and I need to find a new moisturizer. If I don't use it, my skin gets tight and oily, so skipping moisturizer isn't a good idea either.

I use C-vitamin daily and have for several years and I use BHA toner every now and then, 3 times a week ish. Recently started using AHA cream (glycolic acid peel) once a week too.

Anyone had similiar issues, did you find a moisturizer working for you? I have also switched up products in my routine to see if that makes a difference - cleansing my face and just apply moisturizer gives the same sticky feeling/look.

I bought an ear camera and looked in my ear for the first time

I feel like this is... A LOT.

I tried removing some of it, and I managed to get maybe 10% of it out. My ear started hurting, so I stopped. Not sure if I should contact my doctor during the week and ask for a "clean out", I might try it out myself. Do you guys think it looks like soft wax or more like a "wax plug"? Just curious, I know I'm not getting answers from medical professionals here! I have had some issues with my hearing and the sensation of there being something in my ear.

Does Stephen King use "advanced" language in his books?

The Green Mile and The Shining are two of my all time favorite movies, I have known for a long while that King is known to be a great writer and have always wanted to read his books - and now I have finally purchased some of them; Misery, Salem's Lot and Carrie. I have also watched the movie IT, however it is a long time ago and I have decided that I will read that book too after a while. I remember really enjoying the movie, but I have unfortunately forgotten a lot about what happened. Since there are so many pages in this book I want to read some other books from Stephen King before I start on it.

I have not started reading them yet as I'm finishing up another series, however I was wondering how Stephen King's books are to read for someone who is not a native english speaker. I do understand english to the point that I can easily watch an english movie without subtitles and understand 95% of what's going on, I play a lot of video games and I always choose english if possible etc. I travel a few times a year usually and communicate with others on english without issues., but I do believe my vocabulary is a little limited when it comes to less used words and I would describe my english as "easy" lol.

Are his books "easy" to read, or does he use a lot of strange words that are not common to use in daily speech among english speakers? What do you think about my choice of books?
