Toilet seat causing acne?

I have been experiencing an increase in spots on my bottom and they hurt a bit when you press on them and when I sit down. It’s not uncommon for me to have spots in these areas, I have had bad acne since a child and have really sensitive skin where heavy moisturisers will cause a load of spots to appear on my arms and legs, so I have to be careful and particular about what I use. Using suncream on my body in the summer and swimming in the pool can cause spots on my body too, including my bottom, as the cream can be a bit heavy/greasy and the chlorine chemicals irritate my skin and dries it out, contributing to spots.

However, I have I have noticed an unusual increase in spots on my bottom recently and it seems everyday there is a new one. It got me thinking, could the toilet seat at home be contributing to this? If I use the toilet at work or in public, I always wipe the toilet seat with paper and then put a layer of toilet paper around the whole seat before I sit. However, at home I don’t do that as it’s my house and you expect it to be clean and okay. It’s got me thinking, is it possible the bacteria from my family’s skin microbiome is on the toilet seat and not agreeing with me? Or are the men in my house accidentally peeing on the seat and are just wiping it with toilet paper instead of disinfecting it, causing that to give me spots? Other than that, I don’t know what it could be as I have not changed any laundry products or body products recently

I think I produce a lot of earwax

This is quite embarrassing, but I think I may produce more ear wax than the average person? The way I’ve come to this conclusion is that I’ve always struggled with Apple AirPods (the ones without the silicone ear tips) and the wired EarPods. They are not compatible with the way my ear is shaped and just fall out immediately or with the slightest movement or smile. So for the last couple years I’ve been using bluetooth headphones, which was fine but I find them so bulky to carry around in my bag, they flatten my hair and I don’t like how my ears get sweaty and warm after long periods of wearing it. They recently broke and was just gonna buy another pair, but my brother has AirPod Pro 2’s (ones without silicone ear tips) and he told me to try his. He has the same ear shape compatibility problem as me and said these are perfect for him. I tried them and they were great, could shake my head around violently and it stayed in. He told me to order the Pro 3’s and I did.

Ordered them and they come with 5 ear tips sizes ranging from XXS to L. I’ve tried all sizes multiple times and I can’t seem to find the perfect fit. The medium seemed great but then after 15 mins of wearing they slowly start falling out. Like my ear opening is slowly rejecting it. I just couldn’t understand why I couldn’t keep any sizes in my ear. Then I’ve realised that I think it’s earwax making the canal too slippery so the silicone tips aren’t getting a good seal and grip against my skin. When I shower in the morning, I dry the opening with my towel, and then do clean the “rim” of the opening with a cotton bud (don’t go inside). I find when I wear the AirPods in the morning, they do stay in a bit longer compared to when it’s coming to the end of my 9-5 shift. I think this is down to the earwax continuing to accumulate throughout the day.

Does anyone else have this problem? And what ways are you cleaning your ears to minimise wax? I do also have oily skin in my ears (I have a really oily face), so that could also be a factor, but I think that’s more the rest of my ear than the canal. I just wanna wear the AirPods man 😭 I spoke to Apple (before I realised it might be an ear wax problem) and he said I can ask in an Apple Store to look for more ear tip options and try them on? I don’t know if that’s all true, but could try

Has anyone bought this T-shirt?

I really like this t-shirt, but I live in the UK so with all the fees added on it will be £55 to get it. I was wondering if anyone has it and can say whether the print is good quality and if it washes well too? I don’t think I mind paying that much if it will last. I don’t wanna get it and it be bad quality and then it’s too expensive to then return. I did see on their website menu a “UK STORE” link, but it just says “opening soon” when you click on it and to sign up for their newsletter

People just stopping anywhere when walking

I can’t be the only one that’s seen a rise in this? This isn’t about older people who probably get a bit confused navigating a busy city centre that may have changed a lot since they were younger and may suddenly stop and scan their surroundings, or people from outside the city who clearly are trying to follow google maps on their phone. It’s people who stop in the most inappropriate places when I thought it was common sense to not do that? I’ve had a woman stop at the top of the stairs just coming out a train station, with her suitcase right next to her. She was standing smack bang in the middle too, not even to the side so people can easily just walk past. I’ve had a couple just abruptly stop at the bottom of an escalator and did not move to the side or look round incase anyone was behind them before stopping and only moved over after I said excuse me (I don’t think I should have to ask, you know there’s people behind you in this busy shopping centre). I’ve had a woman exit one of the doors to the train station and just stop and stand there just after she crosses the threshold and I almost bumped into her. Again, I had to say excuse me for her to actually move. I just don’t know why people can’t just walk a few more steps so they’re not at the top of the stairs, bottom of the escalator or outside an exit. If they really must stop right there and then, why can’t they just move over a little bit to allow others to pass? I just find it really odd and rude
