Can't stop crying

I (19F) have been having increasingly intense ear issues since a severe acoustic trauma back on January, though I'd had tinnitus and frequent sbutt episodes before that. Over the past months I've acquired MEM, worse constant tinnitus alongside tinnitus that fluctuates so much in sound and volume that it wakes me up, fatigue, more sbutts, ear pressure, fullness, fluctuating hearing loss...

I've started having real episodes too: where my affected ear rings for hours accompanied by aural fullness, and/or low frequency hearing loss for the same span of time. No vertigo yet, but my ENT has stated that's likely because I'm in the early stages.

All I can do is wait and see if I get worse, and while I know my diagnoses is not definitive yet, but I can't stop sobbing every day. I've fought so hard to be able to function with my pre-existing tinnitus. I'm so young, I can't stand the idea of worse tinnitus and hearing loss.

Any advice appreciated.

Hearing loss episode - anyone else?

Hey y'all. So I've been getting frequent instances of transient ear noise (when your ear rings for a few seconds-minutes and fades out) since my TMJ started back up in December, which I attribute to said TMJ. My right ear is also plagued with a pressure sensation which, again, I attributed to TMJ/ ETD.

The other day though, I had an episode where my left ear rang for a few seconds like usual, but in the 30 or so minutes after, I was left with significantly reduced hearing and numbness in said ear. The hearing returned and numbness faded after the 30mins, but I was hit with another attack a few hours later.

Had anyone had anything similar? I'm hoping it's TMJ related and not something more sinister ear-wise.

Hi all, I'm trying to come off long term PPIs for medical reasons and have been given a h2 blocker to make the tapering process easier. I've tried to find any research online on if h2 blockers can worsen/cause T, but have only found anecdotal evidence and sporadic studies with varying outcomes.

I would just taper off without the h2 blocker but last time I did that I almost ended up in hospital lol

If anyone takes or has taken a h2 blocker, please let me know how you went!

Hi all. Is there anyone in Australia who healed their SIBO willing to share which naturopath / functional medicine practitioner they went with?

I'm at a loss with being tossed from horrible gastroenterologist to horrible gastroenterologist for too long.

Thanks!
