Trouble with backflip rotation

So I’ve been working on my backflip for a while now and I’m able to land on my knees which is something I’ve wanted to do for a while now. But the problem is that in order for me to land on my knees I have to throw my head backwards in order to generate enough rotation to complete the flip. I’ve tried keeping my head neutral, but I land on my back and neck every single time which is in my opinion way worse than landing on my knees. So I’m just confused?

If the only way I can actually backflip is if I throw my head backwards then how else do I generate rotation when that’s gone?

Update: Okay so I think I found the main problem with my rotation. It’s the mat. I’m using the mat to help me overcome the fear of the backflip but it’s killing the necessary height required to get me on my feet. I’ve seen a couple of people say that I need to raise my arms more and while I don’t entirely disagree, I’ve seen a lot of backflips even ones people have sent me and majority of them have their arms in the same position that I do. I don’t think it’s impossible to do it on the mat that I have but at my current level I won’t be able to get it done. The closest I’ve gotten was my toes. So instead I’m going to go to a gymnastics gym near me and see if they got better equipment that I can use.

3 year anniversary to my game

Today marks the 3 year anniversary for my game! And so far I’ve gotten:

-No fanart
-No appreciation
-No Money
-No new people to help me even when I offer to pay them
-No new discord members
-No natural progression (have to pay ads with the little money I have to get people to play and it STILL isn’t enough)
-Lost 2k followers

This game makes me so exhausted. Time passes and the more effort I put in the less people invested, and the less Im just so tired. I’m so close to giving up.

I posted a gameplay clip of a new weapon I made just to see if the people who see this post think a game like this is worth making absolutely no progress. I get that it isn’t perfect and barely polished, but I’m really just trying the best I can and it’s never good enough.

Finally got my back handspring!!(almost)

Well after a couple days of consistent training I finally got my back handspring to look pretty good. I’m still leaning a bit but it’s getting better and better each time I do it which is cool because ive been stuck on a very mediocre back handspring for so long. Plus it’s nothing that a few more days of consistency can’t fix.

I personally think the thing that helped me the most was turning my body fast enough to reach the ground to eliminate the lean on my body, and also pushing my hips forward as much as I can.

Crooked back handspring help

So recently I’ve been trying to get a good back handspring. I made a compilation of some of my better attempts. I’m getting better with my height, flexibility, and landing on my feet instead of my knees. But I’m getting sick of tipping to my left.

Fear isn’t an issue for me at all. I’ve tried some drills but I don’t know which ones will help me. And I swear on everything I love that I am trying my best to go backwards it’s just that naturally I will always lean in that direction. It feels like I have everything down, so what could possibly be the issue that makes me going completely backward so impossible?

Longest handstand attempt

So about 3 weeks ago I started to get into tricking thanks to a friend, and I just wanted to test my handstand ability for things like back handsprings and front handsprings. This is my longest attempt so far, but I just wanted to see if there’s anything I can do to improve it a bit? Or any advice to keep it for longer?

I need desperate help with my backflip

So recently I’ve been getting into tricking and u wanna learn how to backflip really bad. I have a good physique and I know that I have the capability for it. The only problem is that I for the life of my do not know how to rotate during my backflip.

I’ve watched over 50 videos that have all said the exact same thing. I genuinely do not know how at all I’m supposed to flip backwards. I just don’t know how to rotate at all. I try throwing my body back, that doesn’t work. I try tucking really good, that also doesn’t work. I try jumping higher, committing more and nothing is helping me rotate.

I have already gotten over my fear of going backwards and I’m more fustrated than anything because I’m so confused how I’m supposed to rotate my entire body. I’m going to post a video of what I think is my *best* attempt so maybe someone can explain to me like I’m five what I’m doing wrong.
