I built a procedural Roblox Studio builder to help my son create instead of only play. Is this workflow useful for real creators?

Hi everyone,

I’m pretty new to the Roblox creator community, so I’m trying to be careful and not just drop a link.

I started building this because of my son. He loves Roblox, but I wanted to help him move from only playing to actually creating things.

At first I tried an AI-based approach, because that is closer to my background. But after working on it for a while, I realized that pure AI generation was not the right foundation for what I wanted.

It could generate things, but I wanted something more controlled, repeatable, and usable inside Roblox Studio.

So the project slowly became a deterministic procedural engine.

The tool is called WorldLoop. It is a web-based CAD-first builder for Roblox Studio. You generate structures from a dashboard, preview them in the browser, then send them into Roblox Studio through a Local Helper bridge.

It can generate houses, larger villas, multi-floor buildings, towers, compounds, interiors, map layouts, voxel/world experiments, and a Bricks Mode/destruction-oriented workflow.

The Roblox OAuth app was approved recently, so now I’m trying to understand if this actually makes sense for Roblox creators.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback

I recently built a free Roblox Ads Profit Calculator because I wanted a simple way to estimate whether Sponsored Ads are actually profitable before spending Robux.

The calculator helps estimate: • ROI / Profit & Loss • Cost per Visit • Conversion Rate impact • Premium Payout revenue • Returning buyer revenue • Break-even analysis Would love to hear feedback from other Roblox developers and what features could make it more useful.

Do Roblox commissions feel way too risky to anyone else?

I’ve been thinking about how messy Roblox commissions can be.

A lot of deals still happen through Discord DMs, random portfolios, vouches, and trust alone. Sometimes it works, but a lot of the time it feels risky for both sides.

Clients don’t always know who is legit. Developers can get ghosted or underpaid. Scam reports are hard to verify. Portfolios are scattered. Beginners also don’t really have a clear path to become commission-ready.

I’m working on a project called DevForge to try solving some of this.

The idea is a platform for Roblox creators with verified profiles, portfolio proof, reviews, trust signals, safer commission workflows, marketplace listings, and eventually learning resources.

I’m not trying to make this sound like an ad. I’m mainly trying to figure out if this is actually a real problem for other Roblox developers and clients too.

If you’ve done Roblox commissions before, what was the worst part of the process?

And what would a platform need before you would actually trust using it?

Big Question - What Makes A Story Game Timeless?

I'm seeking external answers as to how I can make a story game or more specifically the story itself feel timeless, almost like an addiction of some sort. Something that you can play more than once and never get tired of it.

I've written short stories as an exercise to help develop my vocabulary and punctuation to enhance story telling. However, I feel like they lack something. That addiction to read it more and more.

Kinda just looking for answers, seeing what people come up with.

Looking for revenue share scripters, builders and animators for a bendy asym game

I've already made the map and the lobby and the UI icons just need some people to make them work and I got a working ink demon model with animations for walking, running, idle and 8 jump scares

It's essentially you collect 20 items within 10 minutes well the ink demon has to kill all players and once all items are found the player runs to the elevator to escape then you can deposit all your items you collected with everyone into a box to convert into slugs (a coin currency) I'm planning on expanding the map soon and also planning on a shop for abilities for the players like flow and teleport well for the ink demon you can choose skins or different characters entirely

Did Roblox just killed "testers"

Like a couple of hours ago, my testers told me that they can't access the game. I checked the game's settings and everything, and it's literally the same as before, but they can't access it at all. I tried using the default Roblox group role feature ranking some people as "Testers" to see if they could access the game or not and it seems like they genuinely can't. This is so bad. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm pretty sure this isn't something on my side.

Can someone help me improve this model?

I've always liked imagining the Despacito spider as a giant spider, so I've always wanted to give it a realistic giant monstrous spider design, but it ended up resulting in the image I posted. So, I'd like you to tell me how to make this model more pleasing to the eye.

Looking to create a game, no experience. Any tips?

I’m wanting to create an art based game similar to speed draw, copyrighted artists, ect. Although i have little to no experience of roblox code. How would i learn this? And approximately how long would it take me to learn?

Is it a bad idea to have a value which decides which in-game character a player can use be given to the player on the client side?

So I'm making a game where players can select their characte however, certain characters would be locked behind a gamepass or something else for example.

If the value which decides which character a player is selected and playing is, is stored on the client side, could exploiters use this to access gamepass-locked characters?

How do i circumvent this?

Why audience age 16+?

All requirements have been met; the game contains absolutely nothing unusual—there isn't even any monetization. It's just an Obby... What could be the reason for the 16+ rating? Is this a bug? Is it like this for everyone? Or does the 16+ simply indicate the minimum age requirement, while the game remains visible to everyone? Has anyone else encountered something like this?

many additions and changes (huge flashes during nuke wave)

whole lot of stuff changed and stuff added

support chinooks only have 3 current working power ups and that they are: damage increase, attack speed increase and movement speed increase

I still gotta rework the tank's tracking towards the cursor, will also nerf the nuker type enemies, add new enemies and other changes needed

I'm trying to catch that old roblox vibe without it looking like retroslop. What should i change?
