Looking for Feedback for my first Roblox Game

Yarr, pirates! 🏴‍☠️

I've been working on my roblox game, Raft Defenders, for the past few months, and I'd love to get some feedback.

The idea is simple ->> survive on your raft for as long as possible while gathering resources, crafting items, and expanding your raft as enemies try to destroy both you and your raft. The longer you survive, the more coins and modifier rewards you earn.

With those coins, you can unlock new character customization items, pets, and more.

Modifiers let you make your next run easier. There are fire rate, damage, utility, and resource modifiers that you can equip before starting a game. You can also unlock pets with coins, and each pet provides passive bonuses to help you survive longer.

- I'm mainly looking for feedback on:

- Is the lobby clear enough for new players to immediately understand what to do?

- Is the gameplay loop fun?

- Does the progression feel rewarding?

- Is there anything that feels confusing or boring?

Thanks to anyone willing to give it a try! Any criticism is welcome! 🏴‍☠️

I want help for my ideas, i dont know how to code:(

Hi Devs, my name it's Gui, i have an game idea about the brazillian folklore, here is a short resume:
The game must have a round system with intermission. During intermission, players stay in the lobby, which must be a haunted bus. Do not use accents in any in-game text. When the round starts, one player becomes the killer and the others become survivors. The main map must be a dark forest on fire, with smoke, shadows, and a cursed atmosphere. The killer can choose between Saci Perere and Curupira, and each one must have different powers and playstyles. Survivors must work together to cut down 8 trees spread across the map using an axe. While exploring, they can collect coins during the match. Each survivor must have a different special ability, and only one of each survivor type can be chosen per match. When all 8 trees are cut, an exit door opens. If all surviving players go through the door, the match ends. If the killer eliminates everyone first, the killer wins. Include: - Intermission timer - Lobby bus - Burning forest map - Coin collection system - Unique survivor abilities - Killer selection between Saci Perere and Curupira - Tree-cutting objective - Exit door unlock after all 8 trees are cut - End of round and return to lobby
So if someone wants this idea, contact me in the comments, Not selling nothing, just showing my idea for you guys, if you want you can get it

My first game!

Hey everyone! I just released my first game called Color Panic!

It’s a fast color survival game where you race to the right tile, use perks like pushing players, and try to be the last one standing!

I’d really appreciate anyone testing it and giving honest feedback. Good and bad thoughts are both welcome!

Roblox keeps deleting my Rain audio.

The game i'm working on needs rain sounds. So, i uploaded an audio file. It worked fine for a minute, but then Roblox deleted my audio for 'violations of Roblox Terms of Use'. So i tried again and again, shorter, longer, mp3, wav, etc etc. But it keeps deleting them and i don't know how to fix this. Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

Made 77k Robux profit from my first UGC item, but I’m basically starting over now 😭

I made and uploaded my first ever UGC item myself and it ended up making around 77k robux in profit after tax. It was a full bundle that I modeled myself in velnder so honestly I’m still pretty proud of how well it sold considering it was my first attempt. It also wasn’t some cheap low level model.

I do feel kinda bad though because at the time I didn’t properly rig it myself. I used Roblox’s automated rigging process, thought it worked correctly, and assumed it had just saved me time. I didn’t notice all the problems until later, so people basically bought a bundle that had animation issues, stiff movement, weird joint deformation, clipping, awkward walking and idle animations, and parts of the body not moving as naturally as they should have.
I wasn’t intentionally trying to sell something broken, I genuinely thought the automated rigging had done its job properly, but I definitely learned my lesson lol.

I also got banned two months later in November for an accidental dispute purchase only almost eight months after publishing them and I only recently got unbanned in June so I’m thinking about getting back into UGC again. I probably won’t be making another bundle anytime soon because that one took me way too long to create, but if I ever do make another one, I’m properly rigging and testing everything myself before uploading it.

Right now I’m considering focusing mostly on makeup faces/ dedicated makeup heads. I plan on using procreate to make the faces and I’d say my rendering is well above most of the makeup UGC I currently see for sale, so I think that could be a better lane for me since id be able to stand out with my rendering. I’d probably mainly release makeup heads, then occasionally drop things like lashes, brows, facial piercings, beauty marks, face accessories, hair accessories, glasses, or other items that match the makeup.

The problem is that I’ve been gone for so long that I’m not really up to date with current roblox trends or what actually sells now. Do makeup heads still have strong demand, or is that market already too saturated? Would it be smarter to focus on a specific aesthetic instead of making random makeup styles?

I’m also delusional enough to think I could eventually reach 5 million Robux in profit sales within a year or two of properly launching my group and cash most of it out 😭

This is not some serious business plan or anything. I’m just a teen trying to make some money on the side while creating things I’m actually good at. I’d appreciate honest advice from people who are currently active in UGC and even people who don’t do UGC I’d like to hear your thoughts about this too!

P.S. I actually had a bunch of other models ready to publish too, including some pretty high end accessories, but my laptop got the Bsod and I ended up losing all the files. I couldn’t recover any of them :(

Advice on the first game I've Made

Hey

Just been spending some time for the past week or two to get into roblox dev. Made this very basic tycoon yeah tbf its like every other tycoon but I have never made any game ever before no scripting modelling anything.

Hopefully I can keep making more games and ones with a unique and fun concept

I'm mainly looking for honest feedback from people with more experience. Things like:

- Is the progression too fast or too slow?

- Is anything confusing or frustrating?

- Did you encounter any bugs?

- What would you improve first?

Literally tell me anything because Im trying to get anything and everything I can to get better. criticize or anything

I'm trying to get better as a developer, so even small criticisms are really appreciated.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to try it out!

Edit : Thank you very much for letting me know about the UI issues I worked on it for and I got it to a point where it is still playable. It's not quite there yet as I have to go to sleep and I don't have enough time right now since obviously I am a beginner and even small things take ages to get done

Sorry for the use of AI. Wont happen again

Anonymous Characters and Roblox Chat Restrictions

I’m working on a social deduction game where players are assigned anonymous characters for each round instead of using their Roblox identities.

One thing I’m trying to figure out is how Roblox’s age based chat restrictions work in this situation.

I’ve noticed that in Roblox Mafia, players who normally can’t chat with each other because of age group restrictions seem to be able to communicate once the round starts and everyone is disguised. Chat still appears to be filtered by Roblox, but communication works differently during the match.

Does anyone know if this is an officially supported Roblox feature related to anonymous/disguised characters, or is there another explanation? If it’s an intended behavior, is there any documentation on how it works?

I’m looking for an official solution rather than trying to work around Roblox’s chat system and get banned.

Creating a Roblox Horror Villain (Ethan) – Looking for Lore Ideas, Mask Design Inspiration & Unique Outfit Concepts

Hi everyone, I hope you’re doing well! I’m working on a Roblox horror game inspired by SamsonXVI’s style, especially his character Zach Nolan, who has a really cool and unique vibe. I want to create my own original serial killer character named Ethan, with a dark and gripping backstory that makes him a truly terrifying villain. Here’s the lore idea I have so far: Six years ago, Ethan lived a peaceful life with his wife Chloe and their two kids, David and Lucy. One night, on his way home, a young man named John—who was driving his dad’s car—made a careless mistake and crashed into Ethan’s family. Chloe, David, and Lucy all died instantly. Ethan was the only survivor. After the tragedy, Ethan’s pain slowly twisted into pure hatred. He blamed not just John, but his entire family for what happened. Some time later, Ethan went to John’s family home, killed his parents (he was wearing a black hoodie that's my idea for this scene), and disappeared into the night. John had no idea any of this happened because he had left just minutes earlier for a camping trip. some days later Ethan appears at that same camping trip as a friendly guide. Nobody suspects him, especially John, who has never seen Ethan's face and has no idea who he really is. Every night, Ethan puts on his mask and begins his deadly plan. At first, he only wants to kill John, but once he realizes the other campers could identify him, he decides that no one can survive. To Ethan, they are nothing more than witnesses, and witnesses must disappear. In the end, Ethan kills John.. and vanish in the dark.. I'm also trying to give Ethan a memorable visual identity. I want his mask and outfit to feel unique and iconic, similar to how Zach Nolan has such a recognizable style, while still being completely original. The character has blue hair, and I'd love to hear any ideas for the mask, outfit, or overall design. I’m not looking for anyone to make free artwork, but if anyone does feel like creating something, I would honestly appreciate it a lot and I’d be really grateful for the support. I’m mainly looking for creative suggestions, feedback, or concept ideas to help improve the character and that could help make Ethan stand out while keeping a classic Roblox style. I’d also love feedback on the lore itself. If you think there are ways to make Ethan’s story more interesting and more memorable, I’d really appreciate hearing your ideas. For the mask, I’d prefer something clean and iconic rather than overly creepy—so no exposed mouths, clown-style masks, or anything similar. I’m aiming for a stylish, memorable Roblox design that matches Ethan’s personality and fits the dark atmosphere of the game, similar in style to the Zach Nolan mask. I really like the idea that SamsonXVI used for Zach Nolan, where the mask feels like a drawn decal rather than a fully modeled face. I’d love something similar for Ethan too—something more like a designed graphic or illustration on the mask, rather than a 3D sculpted mouth or overly detailed horror features. I want it to feel simple, iconic, and artistic, but still original. Thanks so much for reading, and I appreciate any feedback!
