Is our game just bad? Looking for honest feedback

I posted our game a few weeks ago. First, I messed up and put $10 USD into ads for the weekend, but they weren’t engagement ads. 😅

Then I tried again the first weekend of October and put another $10 USD into engagement ads. That got us from basically 0 plays to 10.

Why is it so low? Is it the game itself?

I’d be keen to get some honest feedback on whether this game has any chance at all. I’ll probably just leave it for now and move on to another project with my son if it’s not really going anywhere. 😂

For a bit of context, here are some of the ad/game metrics from one of the ads:

  • Impressions: 5.5k
  • CTR: 1.3%
  • Clicks: 75
  • Plays: 22
  • CPP: $0.388 USD
  • Playtime: 2.1 hours
  • Robux earned: 10

I personally play the game quite a bit and I actually like it, but obviously I’m probably not the best person to judge whether it’s genuinely fun or appealing to other people. 😅

The game is Push a Pile! (https://www.roblox.com/games/96649205652072/Push-a-Pile)

So I’m curious what you guys think. Is the game itself the problem? Is the concept not appealing? Is it the presentation/thumbnail/game page? Or is this just normal for a small Roblox game with almost no initial players?

If it’s not appealing to a wider audience, that’s totally fine. We learned heaps making it, so it hasn’t been a waste of time at all. I’m just trying to figure out whether it’s worth putting more time into this one or whether we should move on to the next project.

Cheers!

Let's say I pay for Opencode Go. I get an API. Can I use that as part of my worflow for maybe 4 times a day to OCR photos? (I'm talking like whiteboards, post it notes, etc.)

That is just another one I was looking into while I mainly plan to use it for coding/plannning.
