Meshify 3 fan control setup do you use MSI Center, asus , BIOS, or Fractal Adjust web page?
I’m trying to understand the best way to control my case fans
My current fan setup is:
- 3 × front 140 mm intake fans
- 2 × top 140 mm exhaust fans from the Arctic Liquid Freezer iii
From MSI Center, I can see a few fan headers. I think SYS Fan 2 is controlling all 3 front 140 mm fans because they seem to run at the same speed, probably through the Fractal hub.
What I’m not sure about is the best way to control everything.
Do you guys usually control your fans through:
- BIOS fan curves?
- MSI Center? , asus etc
- The Fractal Adjust web page?
- Something else?
To be honest, I don’t really like MSI Center. It feels heavy and laggy, so I’m looking for a cleaner setup.
I also want to keep positive pressure because dust is a concern for me. Before buying the Meshify 3, I read a lot of comments saying it can collect dust because it doesn’t have built-in filters. I live in a very dusty country, so I was worried about that.
But after around 4 months, I’ve been cleaning the front and top mesh weekly with a damp cloth, and today I checked the inside of the case. Surprisingly, the dust inside was very light almost nothing serious. The case is also sitting on top of my desk, not on the floor.
I’d like to ask Meshify 3 users::
How do you control your fans?
What fan curve do you use for front intake and top exhaust?
Do you recommend using the Fractal Adjust web page, BIOS only, or another software?
Do i need Extra fan 120 mm as exhaust ?
