My Best Friend came through this weekend, and he got me interested in Embro-idery .

My Bookstore is next to an Embroidery shop. I asked the lady, and she borrowed me a Ring, needle and material.

She gave me some instructions. But I mostly didn't listen.

This is the result of my first hour of playing around with Embro-idery.

My initial observation: The "invisible stitches" at the back are just as important as the front facing stitches.

Cannot wait to start using patterns!

Full title is “Reverie: a Wonderland of Dreamscape and Nightmares to Color” and it’s pretty accurate - some of the pages are very freaky deaky! Here are some of the less odd ones - I really love coloring in this book. The line art does most of the work so it’s very low stakes and relaxing. It’s funny, I swear the cutesy bunny and dog coco wyos have been more stress inducing!

My first try at coloring over the lines with acrylic pens. My set is kinda cheapie so it took a few layers and was a real trust the process moment, lol.

Trying out the bokeh effect, but added hearts. This is a super cute book!
