Tried a new lace effect
And I’m pretty happy with it ☺️ needing to work on sizing and spacing for those hearts but that’s the next page’s problem 😂

Made myself a 'color by number' that turns into a realistic eye — coloring skills did all the work

Are there less and less real coloring books on the market?
I have the feeling that there are less and less real coloring books on the market every year. With real books I mean by a real publisher with proper paper, not Amazon printed. Also, there are only some artists left that produce new books like Kerby Rosanes, Hanna Karlzon, Rita Berman, Mythographic, etc. And they become less every year, too. Why is that? Is the coloring community getting smaller, is the trend over?
How to print a PDF of coloring book?
I am looking for recommendations on best paper for printing. I will be mainly using alcohol markers.
Is 200gsm cardstock a good idea?
I'm always afraid of using acrylics for fear that I'll ruin it, but it worked out great this time!
Might work up the courage to add "frost" and a background
Newbie here 🐣
Hello! 51 yo coloring newbie, with terrible vision. 😅
Do members care if we screenshot coloring pages for inspo? I'll never be able to recreate the amazing pages I see, but I'm terrible at figuring out what colors go together.
Any suggestions on tutorials? I haven't enjoyed using markers, because I can't get the color even and it looks streaky. I've been using colored pencils and would like to improve my pages.
Thanks for your time!
My first coloring post!
The book is Cozy Europe by Jade Summers!
I used my alcohol markers for the base, then acrylics for the details.
I'm still new so always looking for feedback! Please let me know what you think <3
Bunny Rescue
Page from The Huldrafolk - Mountain Village by Oda Agda. I used Copics and Arrtx acrylic markers
Practice run
Does anyone else like doing a practice run before coloring the actual page in their book?
I like printing or copying a page first so I can treat it like a rough draft. It gives me a chance to experiment with color palettes, shading, and different techniques before I commit to the real page. 😅
This is my current work in progress, and I'd love to hear what you all think! I'm constantly second-guessing myself and changing my mind, so I'd really appreciate any feedback.
Do you see anything you would change? Any suggestions for improving the shading, color choices, contrast, or overall look? I'm always looking to learn and improve, so don't be afraid to share your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
First time attempting a campfire page
Still nervous about how it'll turn out but I think it's going ok so far. Shadows and light are so scary but there's only one way to get better 😬
