Should I take take ₹20k “AI lead” at a slow non-profit or gamble on a shaky startup dream?

So hi folks, I am 2025 B. Tech CSE grad, who has been trying to get a job ever since 1 Year. Now to give you a little overviews, I am working with an AI startup which is remote and bootstraped. But the work is a bit slow there and since it is bootstraped, I'm not getting paid much(10k) and don't even know if it ever be a full time thing. Soo i took it as a time being considering the situation the market is in.

Now I recently got an offer through contacts to work in a non profit skill institute. They wanna set up an AI lab for which they wanted to hire me. In their words they wanna learn "AI". Now, the skill institute has courses like mobile reparing, solar power repairing, electrical repairing ,drone etc.For a normal non tech person learning AI is also learning chatgpt and claude upto his full potential. Learning AI is also designing systems..

So the thing that I proposed was to integrate AI in their course and to learn AI tools which are related to the specific skill. And possibly take a workshop level business related course which teaches them claude and promt engineering.

They want me full time, are offering me 20k. And AI will be my department. I wouldn't have many people questioning me what and how I am doing things.

Now there is honestly not much to do there, like the process are all slow.. I dont know how much will I even be learning. even they said things are slow here. I am doing the AI startup simultaneously as well because if I ever get into Tech, I wanna have that as experience because ultimately I wanna build systems.

I feel lost here. Not sure if joining the non profit is a good idea. The AI startup did say that we could put you up with the client and subsequently there would be in an increase in salary as I will be working on clients payroll. But again they can't promise anything permanent or stable. When I said that I will be join the non profit org, they were fine with it but did say that they won't be putting me up with a client since that would require additional time.

I don't have anything in my hand at the moment which is stable. And I am tired of having sleepless nights thinking i don't have anything stable.

I just don't feel very proud of myself or feel like doing anything. I feel like this is not what I was supposed to do. Dabbling in 20-30k.

So i don't know what to do. Is non profit a good idea for my career at this moment.
