Puzzle 40 of the year, which puts my average at two a week (3.5 days per puzzle, which sounds right, with some faster or slower, all 1000 piece + two 500). I am so glad I’ve found this hobby this year, it’s become something I look forward to everyday in my downtime, that absorbs me, helps quiet my mind, and feel truly relaxed.

This puzzle was on the medium easy side and came together quickly- two days. With some of these “wildflowers” living in my backyard under the name weeds, it really made me think about the difference between the two. And, it’s really just about how you think about them. If you want them/like them they are wildflowers. If you label them as unwanted or ugly, they are weeds. And that kinda blew my mind, because they are really quite amazing, resilient, and beautiful. 🌼

Home of Thoughts, art by Marija Tiurina, brand is Heye. Not only was this a joy to look at for the many hours it took to complete, but it has a special place for me since I’m a therapist who works heavily with “parts” of ourselves, which this art captures beautifully. My first framer! 😍
