Candle question!
Hello! I’m new to Reddit and I’m new to witchcraft. The pictures you see are of my altar and of a spell jar I just did (sweetening jar). As I was conducting the spell, I noticed my pink candle burning much quicker and creating a much larger wax “mess” than the other three candles. My intentions for this jar was to increase my hope, intuition, wisdom, and over all self-love and love from those around me.
I did break the candles to set a time frame, making sure the candles were as equal as possible. But the pink candle (which was the longest) burnt out first. The green and the blue candles burnt out next, but the purple candle took the longest. At the time of posting this, the candle is still burning. (As per the last picture.)
The candles are sitting on a fire safe dish with salt. I drew a love/ self love sigil into the salt before I placed and lit the candles.
I have a generalized idea as to what the candles’ activities could mean, but what do you all think?
