Will I need to pop the neck off and put a shim in?
Hello experts. I am working on a build kit, and when I started putting strings on, I noticed the action is extremely high near the pickups, but perfect near the nut. I’ve got the bridge as low as it can go. I’m assuming I’ll need to get the neck off and get something angled under it to raise it to sit properly with a good action height? I’m assuming a truss rod adjustment wouldn’t fix this problem, correct?
