My husband accidentally bought a ridiculously expensive designer bag for me and I'm terrified to tell him we need to return it
So I recently started getting into fashion and luxury styling just as a hobby, mostly watching videos online and looking at thrift finds. My husband saw how much I was enjoying it and wanted to surprise me for our anniversary.
Yesterday he surprised me with this top-of-the-line designer bag that costs well over a thousand bucks. I looked at the brand and almost passed out. We are absolutely not in a financial position to be spending that much right now since we're tight on budget. he looked so incredibly proud and happy when he gave it to me that I just smiled and hugged him, but internally I am panicking.
Had to make a new account because he knows my main and he's on reddit all the time. If he sees this before I figure out how to talk to him it’s gonna break his heart because he worked extra hours for this.
How do I gently tell him that I love him but we need to return this and get our money back?
