Hey all - looking for some rec's for apps that you use either in prep for a gig/wedding, or during a gig/wedding - ie showing timelines, speeches, timers, notices, etc. Additionally if there are say DMX control apps, recording use cases, and other uses that I'm not necessarily thinking of off the top of my head, please feel free to share those as well.

This will be done PRIMARILY offline unless the venue has wifi (I don't currently use an unlimited data plan on my cell).

Quick question since I haven’t been able to find anything so far - in other places like CA they do the WM “bagster” that you buy, fill up with your stuff, then gets picked up for a fee. The only thing I’ve been finding so far that isn’t task rabbit are 7day dumpster rentals from 350ish-450ish. Planning on doing some demo work at my house and also “summer cleaning” and it would be a good time to be able to get rid of all of the construction material and the other stuff from cleaning the house but not need to be done in a week.

Thinking about starting facebook ads but wondering what other people's experience is with using it. What's it costing you and how much return on your investment are you getting from it?

Currently I run Yelp ads until it stops yielding enough bookings that at least covers the cost (plus it's a tax write-off), but thinking about doing FB ads for weddings and possibly corporate parties. Would love to hear how quickly it ended up working out to getting additional bookings, or if it's just not worth it. FWIW, I'm in a metro area in the PNW if that helps in any way to provide additional information.

So just got a call regarding the potential of doing a trivia night. Can anyone recommend me any good trivia services, software solutions (iPad/windows laptop) that you have used or would recommend? Looking to possibly add this as a service that I offer but don’t want to go in blind here. Some amount of customization would be nice (game types, etc)

Really appreciate it as, while I have no doubts I could run it, I just don’t have an understanding of best choices for what’s out there and also what to avoid as well.
