What weapon ideas have you imagined for your OC's?
I only have the one so far a Sword-Whip called Grimmthorn that's Biomechanical and made out of Grimm bones with the appearance of a Jagged Obsidian longsword meant to be a twisted allusion of Excalibur.
It's got two settings, one where it's whole and used as your typical longsword. The other being it's whip form where the sword segments itself and with a flick of your wrist it cuts grimm to pieces with more reach and in wide cleaving arcs.
The latter being possible because Grimmthorn is synchronized with it's wielder's grief and anger making it obey their will. This way Grimmthorn's special ability is a high risk high reward move, while slaying grimm you're also a walking dinner bell attracting more of them.
If you want to share your own weapon ideas for your OC's feel free.
I really like when AdMechs use their technical Jargon to tell Laypeople you're bothering them in a catty way. Felt like I was talking to Pasqal again.

Arguably the most evil choice in Infinite Museion
My Navigator Passenger locking in during a colony event
Turns out Hann Cassini isn't just my bridge decoration but has a whole heroic sacrifice moment and sad ending. Still hangs out on my bridge even afterwards funny enough.
When it comes to roleplay what kind of star empire do you like building towards? A fanatical one? A 'humane' one? Or just the most powerful dynasty in the milky way?
What I mean is when I try to be as enlightened a Rogue trader as possible I opt out of unaligned colony projects when their ethical bar is somewhere below the mariana trench. Like making servitors out of millions of people. Turning laggards into corpse starch. Or fitting invasive augments into prisoners to render them sleepless to work extra hours when that's practically torture. It also extends to contracts where I don't just hire pirates to blow up that one outpost that's cutting into my profits. And I had Idira and Yrliet accompany me during my magnae accessio to peel off the Imperium dogma demonizing both psykers and Xenos.
It's actually fun setting limits on myself like that so I was wondering if others did the same for their brand of colony management that isn't just picking whatever suits your build and your party.
One of the more evil unaligned choices in the Lex Imperialis DLC.
If all the resources and huntsmen are focused defending the refugees in Vacuo city what about the rest of Vacuo?
I haven't read the novels I just have the show to go off of and the cut epilogue of volume 9. But i'm noticing the set up for vacuo city's defense is basically tunnel vision where they stack everything in one spot and OD on Hopium until there's a path out of the storm.
How does RWBY take into account all the defenders will be at vacuo city when the entire grimm population of Vacuo will no doubt get stirred into a frenzy by the sudden shock of negative emotions? If everyone saw Ruby's broadcast about salem then many people are reckoning with the fact an immortal witch is out there so I can't imagine the grimm being laser focused on just the city but other settlements too.
I like how In Void Shadows you can completely miss meeting Einrich's family if you don't lead the investigation yourself or command Jocasta to not beat everyone she sees senseless
Vacuo nomad OC idea
His name is Jett Morrow a desert nomad from Vacuo raised among the nomadic desert tribes who roam off-grid in the treacherous parts of the desert.
His weapons are a Whip-sword called Grimmthorn and a pair of revolvers.
Semblance is called Overdrive that supercharges his aura to make him hit harder and faster but also drains his aura twice as much and causes his body to feel debilitating pain and cause him to slip into a coma if used too frequently making it a high risk high reward power.
Emblem is the sigil of his clan a hawk in flight clutching a serpent in it's talons.
Jett's backstory is when he was child he lost his siblings and mother during a grimm raid on his tribe including his older brother Wren who was the heir to the Morrow clan. Jett survives the attack but the shock left him in a chronic dissociative state for a year until he learns to move and talk again. Jett's father, Korr Morrow, who felt immense grief over the loss of most of his family poured himself into being the chieftain of his clan.
When jett finally comes back Korr was afraid of getting attached again so he kept emotional distance from jett who's grief over his lost family was still fresh. Jett was raised by his tribe and because of the distance of his father Jett took it to mean Korr would have preferred if his elder brother who was more suited to be the heir was still alive instead of him.
Jett trains hard and slays grimm out of vengeance even at high risk to his own life until years later when jett turned 17, because of Korr's lack of communication with his son, Jett thinks he's just not good enough to lead his people if ever. So jett decided he wanted to be a huntsman because he'd rather hunt grimm than bear the responsibility of being a leader and not drive himself ragged trying to meet korr's high expectations. He enrolls into beacon academy and not shade academy starting his new life with a clean slate and if he could have a life outside of Vacuo's brutal survivalist culture.
There what do you guys think?
I like how even when Pasqal gives Nuncius props he has to make it clear that it doesn't extend to Eogunn
I like when the game has branching dialogue like this. No substantial reward out of it, just a neat pay off that gives your RT more Aura or turn them into a quirky goofball.
How would Vacuo native's realistically react to a sudden influx of Atlesian's showing up to their kingdom uninvited?
Before we hear anything more of volume 10 and how the writers will handle the unfolding refugee crises in Vacuo city, whether it'll be downplayed as not a big deal for the sake of the plot or something that's different from the cut epilogue of volume 9, I wanted to know how other's think it would play out given everything we know so far from the show and world of remnant.
To me realistically Vacuan's should outright hate the refugees and want them to leave, leaving open lots of drama and tension, since the atlesian's kingdom, one, wiped out their oasis and natural resources and colonized them to the point oscar says Vacuo's history books are garbage because of said colonization. two, with mistral's aid started the great war forcing Vacuo to defend itself alongside vale. And three the SDC strip mining vacuo for resources. Are all the people of Atlas responsible for that? No, but they benefited from Vacuo's suffering and stolen wealth which is valid reason for Vacuan's to hate them I would think.
what do you guys think? And what are your own thoughts on the matter?
Starting a new playthrough with a female RT for a change. She came out looking pretty cute.
The contrast between Argenta and Kibellah trying to console a grieving grand-daughter is so sharp it felt like whiplash.
Where the Shadows Are deepest of All quest
I'm glad i don't have to pass a coercion check just to get to some content and miss out on conviction points unlike previously when the gate to the quarantine zone stayed shut if you didn't make the coercion choice. I can just hop on my ship and warp once and back and the gate will be open.
I still have no idea what wait for the situation to resolve itself means and was wondering if anyone knew.
