Looking for a new/used reliable truck

My current choices are the f150 5.0 or a ram 6.4 power wagon. I know they are completely different trucks for obvious reasons but for looks and reliability, these are my choices. I was thinking around 2020+/-

F150 -pros - better miles per gallon and lower cost

Cons - reliable transmission?

Power wagon - good looks, stock suspension

Cons - miles per gallon

I plan on towing a travel trailer occasionally several times a year and also pull a trailer for dump runs for home renovations. I just want avoid the shop as much as possible seeing all newer trucks are not as reliable as they once were. Leaning towards a power wagon due to the older motor and I read good things about the transmission. Please chime in, I plan on buying something in November. Thank you!
