What’s the longest sequence of consecutive songs in a musical?

So I was listening to the cast recording of Ragtime earlier and it occurred to me that the first act has a loooooong stretch of six songs which all take place entirely consecutively – What Kind of Woman, A Shtetl Iz Amerike, Success, His Name Was Coalhouse Walker, Getting Ready Rag and Henry Ford. There’s bits and pieces of dialogue throughout, even some scenes which are big enough not to make it onto cast recordings, but always as part of the songs themselves. So, it got me thinking, what is the longest stretch in musical theatre of consecutive songs?

Outside of anything sung-through, the only show I can think that even comes close is Sweeney Todd – an outside case, perhaps, because of just how much music there is, but besides some integrated dialogue everything from the first Ballad of Sweeney Todd to Poor Thing is music, so that’s five songs. Any others non-sung-through musicals that have especially long musical sequences?

How many side effects is too many side effects

On Day 16 of 50mg sertraline daily (no days missed!) and nothing else, with food and in the mornings. As of a week ago my pharmacist seemed not too be too concerned by my side effects, but they’ve recently really picked back up (not that they ever fully went away) and my partner has pointed out they’re significantly worse than his or any of our friends on SSRIs. The side effects I’m having are:
- Appetite increased massively for a couple of days, then dropped to almost nothing. Since levelled out, but I’ve been eating pretty consistently in all that time.
- Abdominal pains, mainly cramps. Not much worse than hunger pangs but very consistent — I’m a man, so I suspect it’s probably not my period.
- Sense of smell was really strong for a couple of days.
- Very sweaty, but then it’s also been very hot recently so it might just be that.
- Teeth chattering, very badly. Happened for about a week, enough to make my teeth quite sore, and started back up over the last couple of days.
- Diarrhea. Really bad. It’s not consistently an issue, but it is a recurring one. I’ve shat myself in public now on a couple of occasions, and in the last hour I’ve had to go three times, each very abruptly. I feel like a McDonald’s drinks machine. If you placed a paper cup under my anus right now, you could probably convince your worst enemy that you have a nice glass of Coke for them. Please help. Ow.
