Hello Reddit. My mother-in-law is going to be 75 in June, and for as long as I've known her, she's tried to replicate her Nanny's Scottish shortbread cookie recipe without much success using recipes from the internet. For her birthday, I would love it if I could find a collection of shortbread cookie recipes from real-life grandmas/nannies and put them together in a cookbook for her! Her nanny never wrote it down, and she remembers it being three ingredients. I don't know if that information helps or hinders. Would you please share your Nanny's Scottish shortbread cookie recipes with me? I would love to bake with her and help her relive her childhood one more time.
