Uncle Junior has a lot of unflattering moments in the show. He gets played by Tony, Johnny Sacks, and Livia. He spends most of it under house arrest, and a lot of it pretty unhappy. He isn't portrayed as particularly intelligent in a number of instances.

But there is one thing he got right that Tony, Jackie Sr, Richie, Ralphie and probably many others got wrong: Jackie Jr was really, really stupid and not worth the time of day. While Jackie seemed to always see him as a good kid, one can understand that due to bias. Tony thinks of him as suitable for Meadow (probably the biggest relationship iq gap in television) until it becomes obvious he wasnt. Even Meadow is regretful before he dies that she was maybe not a good enough girlfriend and caused him to cheat. Richard Aprile said he wished he was his son, which is mental. And Ralph even wanting to put up with him would be understandable Ro was really a lion in bed, but I don't think the show indicates that at all.

Corrado Soprano is the only mobster who can see Jackie Jr for the dumb fuck who almost drowned in three inches of water for what he was. He put him in his place when they interacted in S2. And while turning up to show his respects, he didn't dance around the fact that Jackie Jr was what he was. And he was the only person in the entire show who seemed to understand that. Respect Junior.

I first watched the show within the past 12 months. Obviously as that was nearly 2 decades after the show ended, I would have been at risk of major spoilers. Thete were two main ones I got.

I knew one mobster would be gay. I was looking out for foreshadowing throughout the show, I thought at different times it could have been Mikey Palmice (Tony makes a joke of him being gay it in the first scene we see him), or maybe Paulie as a result of him not being married. Vito really came out of nowhere until he was caught catching, not pitching by Finn. Maybe I have bad gaydar.

Secondly, I knew the ending would cut to black from when I watched the show. I later, around season 5, heard that Tony dies at the end. It is pretty disappointing that it was spoiled for it, because I have no clue how I would have reacted.

What did you guys know prematurely?

What would have happened if instead of making a joke about her weight, Ralph had seduced and had sex with Ginny Sacks? Let's say, Ralph's humour charms her, and as he enjoys letting women hurt him or whatever, so he wants her to sit on his face and enjoys her weight.

Then, somehow, John is told about this by a source like Paulie, who remains anonymous. Or by Ginny, perhaps. She might say that he threatened her or something. He has no evidence of it, but is even more outraged, and wants satisfaction.

Would anyone even believe him? You can hear the confusion when Carmine says "Raph slept with Ginny?". And it would just be such a strange idea. Or would he even ask, or would he just act? Would Tony defend him, and if he still had his suspicions on Ralph's strange love life, would he then turn on him? After all, there were millions of dollars at stake.

I'll start by saying this is a bit out there, but do hear me out.

The most noted moment of shapeshifting in the show is when Phil turns into a house towards the end of season 6 and shots at little Carmine and Tony. There is a lot to back up the theory of Phil being gay, such as his real contempt for the male bodybuilding, his "compromises" in prison, and him coming out of the closet to torture Vito.

Speaking of Vito, he is the most clear cut gay in the show. But his second most important moment is that he is the one to kill Jackie Jr. But as many fans notice, he sort of comes out of nowhere to shoot Jackie in the back, especially as he is overweight and easily noticeable, and Jackie would've walked past him. So what is Jackie didn't see him because Vito shapeshifted into a random object, like a bench, then re transformed into a human to kill Jackie?

They both have the homosexual realm in common with each other, and as far as I can tell, they're the only ones with this ability. The one hole in the theory I can think of is that Richie Aprile is often said by the fanbase to be gay, although I do think it's less obvious than Phil. But because he dates Janice, we can maybe chalk him to being bisexual, but with a male preference, and therfore not being able to shapeshift.

What do you guys think? Am I missing something obvious?
