Was I the asshole for asking her to sign a legal contract before she moved in to my house?

My Girlfriend 23F moved in with me 24M and I own the house. She is moving out of a shared apartment because her friend wants her boyfriend to move in and we had already been dating for about a year now. When she asked if we should get a place together I offered her to move in with me. She had been over a few times before but only during family events like birthdays or holidays. Other than that we spend most of our time out traveling or at her place. The day after we agreed to move in together I ask if she would be willing to sign a contract. Similar to a prenup/lease agreement. The bulk of it was that she would pay a monthly rental fee of $300 and that anything that was brought into the house from her apartment would be listed as being solely hers. Any items bought together would be a 50/50 split and that anything already in, apart or attached to the house or my name is solely mine. The house sits in a nice quiet neighborhood with a large fenced in yard and a garden that I planted. None of the utilities, mortgage or insurance would be in her name. She would be (on paper) a tenant. When she read the packet and seen that it had to be notarized as well she flew off the wall saying I didn't trust her and that I was trying take advantage of her. Thank God she never moved in as I quickly broke up with her and seen on social media she was with a different guy 3 Days later.

I was playing Halo 2 when I seen this out of the corner of my eye in High Charity. Just a neat little detail that I found. It's visible in both the remaster and original graphics.
