How do you split your Vyvanse dose? What % do you take for your second dose?

For those of you taking Vyvanse in two doses — curious how you structure the split.

Not looking for specific mg advice, more interested in the ratio logic: if your first dose is 100%, what percentage do you take for the second? 75%? 50%? 33%?

•	When do you time the second dose relative to the first?
•	Did you land on your ratio through trial and error, or did your prescriber guide you?
•	What were you trying to solve — coverage gap, crash, or something else?

And also, what does the second dose actually feel like?

Does it just quietly extend coverage — or does it produce a noticeable uptick, like a mini version of the morning ramp-up? Or something else entirely?

Thanks!!

Vyvanse — is feeling calm the expected effect, or should it feel more like focus/tension? Trying to understand what "right dose" actually feels like

Hey,

I'm currently titrating Vyvanse and I'm trying to understand what the expected effect actually is — because I'm not sure I know what I'm supposed to be looking for.

At 30mg: I feel genuinely calm. No anxiety at all, almost the opposite — the mental noise quiets down. But I have no energy, and in the afternoon I'm very drowsy. No real focus either.

At 35mg (only ~3 days): I feel wired and a bit anxious. Noticeable enough that I didn't want to stay there.

My real question is: what is Vyvanse actually supposed to feel like at the right dose? Is the calm I feel at 30mg the expected effect — just without enough "activation" yet because I'm under-dosed? Or should the right dose feel more energizing, more focused, slightly more "on"? Is 30mg closer to the target, or 35mg?

I'm asking because I can't tell if I need to push through and find a middle ground, or if "calm but tired" is just under-dosed and the anxiety at 35mg is my body still adjusting during titration.

I've also ordered L-theanine (arriving in ~10 days) in case anxiety stays an issue at higher doses.

Thanks, any input on what the right dose actually feels like would help a lot.
