Skoda Octavia MK2 vrs Rust
Good afternoon, I was wondering if anyone knows what causes rust to form around the B-pillar roof area like this? It’s appearing on both sides of the car.
My first thought was that water might be getting trapped around the rubber door sills and sitting there, but I’m not completely sure. I’d like to understand the root cause properly so that when I get it repaired, the rust doesn’t just come back again later.
I have put wax over both of them to stop it from getting worse and it hasn't for the last month and a bit
