Am I balding?
Hello, its my first time posting. I have had psoriasis for 6 years now. Its mostly been around my scalp area. At first it was just like dandruff, then at around 2022 I had my first major flare. Since then I haven't had any flares as bad as that one.
At around the start of Feb I've had major scabbing and inflammation, to the point that at times when I cant help but picking my scalp I take out bundles of my hair.
Since then I've been to my dermatologist and I've been on Betamethasone Valerate scalp solution since May 4. Before this I've noticed that I've been losing a lot of hair when shampooing, which has since stopped when I was under this medication.
Now my concern is whether I'm just balding or is this caused by my psoriasis? And will my hair grow back? I've been anxious and depressed since this started.
