Honest Question : Why not More Bzos to taper?
As the title says it im just genuinely curious with the vast availability of benzodiazipines nowadays why do more people not use them to withdrawal from alcohol and then quickly benzo taper with a long half life benzo. I feel like this has to be known that it can mitigate 90% of the withdrawals from alc. So curious why this isnt practiced? Is it fear of switxhing one for another?
