Hey everyone!

I’m an MSc Social Policy student at UCL and I’m currently looking for people to take part in my research project.

I’m explore how periods are talked about in families, especially whether/how dads are involved in those conversations, in order to support the destigmatisation of periods. I’m looking to speak to women aged 18-25 in the UK who menstruate or have menstruated. Bonus if your dad wants to take part too!

It would just involve a confidential online interview for around 45-60 minutes. We’d chat about your experiences of periods being talked about at home, whether that was openly, awkwardly, rarely, or not at all. You don’t need to have had any specific kind of experience, I’m interested in hearing a range of perspectives.

It’s completely voluntary, you can skip any questions you don’t want to answer, and you can withdraw up to two weeks after the interview. There isn’t any payment, but it would be really helpful for my research and for understanding how period stigma can be challenged within families.

Your experiences could help improve understandings of how menstruation is discussed at home and help end the destigmatisation of periods!

Please reply to the post and I can give you some further details if you are interested.

Thank you ❤️
