Multi-day trip

My hubby and I are taking a week of vacation the first week of October. We were originally thinking of going to the smokies but Gettysburg is closer to us. Is there enough to do in Gettysburg for us to spend 5 days there? If we go, we will probably visit the National Civil War museum on the way down. We are huge history buffs and enjoy detail; for context we honeymooned in Colonial Williamsburg and weren't able to get to everything. Thanks! Edit: Recs on fairly priced hotels in or around Gettysburg would be greatly appreciated. :)

Help with Molly's braids

Hype me up, y'all. I recently noticed Molly's elastic bands are falling apart. The only thing keeping them together are her ribbons. I bought new rubber bands but I'm terrified to fix her hair! I've never touched her braids because I can't braid, and I've had her since 2008. Really just posting here out of nervousness more than anything

I can't believe it actually happened

Hi y'all. I've lurked on here for a while and made my first post last week. This Monday, God smiled upon me, quite literally. I was browsing FB Marketplace when I came across a collection of 10 dolls going for $1k. The seller was willing to split them up individually so I bought Emily for $115. (For context, I have Molly. She was my first AG doll).I was excited to make the roadtrip down there for her, about 2 hours from me. She was the only one that seemed worth the drive.

Long story short, while I planned to drive alone on Friday, I went yesterday because I unexpectedly had the day wide open. My husband and MIL came, and we made a day of it. And friends...we hit the motherload. I was texting with the seller and she was very eager to get these dolls off her hands. My MIL wanted Julie and bought me Rebecca for my birthday (my name is Becca). We handled it all over text. And she offered to drive us to her storage unit which was filled to the brim with AG stuff. When Columbus still had an AG store the seller would shop there, she had up to 28 dolls at one point. My MIL also got a PC Kirsten, Julie's car and more mismatched outfits. I came away with Rebecca in her original meet outfit, Elizabeth (to match my Felicity, and Emily (for Molly). I also got two outfits for my colonial dolls (I believe they belong to Elizabeth) and Molly's freaking pajamas. She tossed in the storage bags for free! She is willing to keep in touch and tell me when she finds more that belongs to them. I will put a link to her FB Marketplace in the appropriate thread.
Now I have Molly, Emily, Felicity, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Maryellen, Nanea, and Luciana. Holy. Absolute. Crap! What a day! 😍

My first post

Long time lurker, first time poster. I have loved Molly since I was little and she was my first AG doll in Christmas of 2008. I have always loved history, especially WWII. I also have Felicity, Kit (who I gave away and have come to slightly regret it) Nanea, Maryellen, and Luciana. The last three were the dolls I collected as an adult. My parents divorced and I moved several times, so Molly's meet outfit and Nanea's Christmas outfit are currently lost. 🙁 I'm hoping I find them somewhere between my parent's houses. I recently purchased Molly's book set on FB market place, and she is proudly displayed in the living room. My husband and I have a half and half "nerdy" bookshelf. I work in a memory care unit and brought my dolls on Monday and my residents loved it! Thanks for reading ❤️
