My and my partner are looking to get a dog and want to know where the good kind shelters are that aren’t bad. There is a wonderful humane society near where I live right now and I was wondering which ones are good ones to adopt from in Rochester

There was some gut lining and what looked to be a stomach but it was all dried out. I’m thinking it was a small bunny but also maybe a squirrel? Sorry if the picture don’t really help with an id. It’s the best I could do
