1 hour delivery for restaurant 10 min away. Still left tip on door.
I'm severely disabled & sick as a dog and fell asleep while caregiver was here, so he left without waking me or prepping anything to eat. Woke up 930pm to diabetes sensor screaming at me because low blood sugar. Had to make fast food order as nothing else open past 10pm. Gave highest tip I could afford in app but tbh, I didn't have much on my card. I usually leave a $5 in envelope on door w dasher's name n text them it's there. I try to tip well even though I'm low income, because it's a shite job, especially late at night or in bad weather. Paid express fee. Restaurant is 10 minutes away. Dasher was driving all over the place, took over an hour to get to me. Didn't rescind tip, cas he might been havin' a bad night but dayam- an HOUR after he picked it up to drive a ten minute drive?? Followed his progress n he was even right by my apartments n I texted him clear directions, then he went several miles away, zigzagging here and there. Frustrating AF. I didn't want to short him on the tip but hot food was cold, cold drink was warm. I still haven't done survey cas I dunt wanna get the guy in trouble... But dayam.
