Griz's festival , Seven Stars is hosted at Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia. I've seen a post or two mentioning that the venue is formerly a plantation. When you look it up it's a bit hard to find 'THIS WAS A PLANTATION', but as can be seen here: https://www.oakridgeestate.com/history

It was a farm while slavery was legal in America, the owner had slaves, & owners had to sell after the Civil War, which I feel like is probably enough to say with a large degree of certainty that it was a plantation.
I'm curious about where do you go from there. It's an unfortunate reality that large parts of America are tainted ground, so to speak. In this instance, the land has had multiple owners since then, so the enslavers and their kin are still profiting off it. I've seen people suggest that Griz do a land acknowledgement.
I'm curious, do you care about it in the first place? What would you have Griz do it make things better, if at all?
