Anyone know what's going on with all the servers?

Anyone know what's going on with all the servers not working? Most of the servers, and almost every site I've used from FMHY is either not working or only works for a short period

Another crackdown from the powers that be?

Why has every Ye related sub turned into an ANTI-YE sub?

Why has every YE sub turned into an ANTI-YE sub? Every other post is bringing up old shit from years ago as if their intention is to stir up negativity against the very artist this sub is meant for…

Have bots taken over, or are a lot of you in the mindset that this is the cool thing to do?

Miss the days when we can actually talk about him and his art properly without all these edgy, negative posts

Even when there are positive posts, a majority of the comments are just contradicting it without any substance, as I’m 100% sure will happen to this post

As someone whose in my 30’s and has witnessed every roll-out for a Ye album, the anticipation, the cool discussions…it really is a sad thing to see

BULLY for example was such an awesome album, and although not his best, for a 49 year old, still making music like this makes me so proud to be a fan, and I love that he continues to create something that isn’t finely tuned and has some rough edges, but still having the core of the songs so much more interesting than what most rap artists are doing today.

And having a proper discussion about the use of AI in earlier versions of BULLY will never get anywhere…because everyone seems to just lump AI into one big pot and just assume all AI is when you write in prompts and boom the product is finished…which it’s not.

AI is a tool that will continue to grow and be a major part of our lives whether we like it or not, and if an artist/futurist like Ye, who has always pushed boundaries with his art, is not experimenting with such a tool just to see what it is capable of, he’s not doing his job when it comes to innovation.

Innovation occurs when you experiment with the tools available at your disposal, and see how far they can be stretched out and synthesized into something completely new.

Ye had spoken about his use of this technology before and I will bring up the example  - When chopping samples, which Ye is arguably the greatest to ever do it, he spoke about how he used AI to isolate vocals from a track, because before he would be using FLOPPY DISKS (a lot of you won’t even know what that is). Essentially the song/sample would be copied onto the floppy disk, and from there he would have to manually cut and chop the sample into the ASR-10

Although the organic, manual approach to doing it this way can bring a much more unique sound than a digitally isolated approach, kind of like recording on tape, I think its still important to experiment with new tools to see whether there can be a smarter, more efficient way of doing something.

A lot of us grew up in an era where we were told by our parents that it’s all about working HARD, but in reality, the ones who are great at what they do, in any job, are the ones who work SMART.

There are positives of having a sub like this that do call out his heavy use of this tool, and as we know, him and his team do lurk on the sub and take notes on what the fans are saying, and this allows him to go back to the songs and figure out what he thinks would be best without giving in too much of what others are telling him, because at the end of the day, he’s the artist and will always have the last say in how he presents his art.

Anyways, wish we can have at least 1 sub where we go back to just being positive about an artist who has meant everything to some of us, who has helped us navigate sadness and happiness, helped us curate what kind of clothing we wear, helped us develop the philosophy of what it means to be a true artist who is undeniably fearless, helped us be more confident in saying what we feel is right and not what the hive-mind wants us to say…

For those of you who are in the same boat as I am, and not stuck in this edge-lord, unfunny, cringy phase, God bless you
