Torn between decisions... anything would help please

In a situation between staying home to maintain my commitment to my 3v3 League team (Rocket League) and going to my younger sister's graduation for her master's, what do I pick?

It's a time issue. Graduation is on Saturday. League game the day before on Friday.

Game starts at 6:00pm; well it's not just one game. It's the first major. So we play two series, best of 5, against 4 teams. A LOT OF RL. It sets seeding for the second week of major 1 which then sets our seeding for major 2 (which gets into our seeding for LAN).

Thing is, my family has been playing to leave early morning Friday. It's a 10-hour drive.

For anyone to say things about me planning better, yes you're right. I learned from this that when the time distance between first hearing an event and the details actually getting figured out is larger, the harder I have integrating everything. But that doesn't help me with my current situation.

I obviously want to be there for my sister. Her graduation is the next big step in her big life plans (she's the type of person who knows what they want in life; pretty cool). However, the last minute switch-up on my team could be abysmal to our chemistry. But of course such could be true if I don't go to my sister's graduation.

There's the further issue that since we're leaving early morning Friday that I would have to miss therapy. And at this point it's too late to cancel and not have to pay a ridiculous $150 fee for cancelling within 24-hours of my appointment...Even though they have cancelled my appointment quite a few times within that frame; some within just a few hours of my appointment.

But I digress. Both things feel equally urgent. I'm stuck.

EDIT:

I feel that picking my sister's graduation makes the most sense. I mean it's my sister. I'm sure it'll mean a lot to her me being there. Plus my relationship with my sister will last much longer than my relationship with my RL team. I guess now I just accept the recourse that comes from my team and team's GM. And thus becomes about managing what comes with that.

Yay...
