I would genuinely appreciate anyone's advice. I have struggled with a mental health crisis last year because of workload/ uncertainty/ bottlenecks. I was very depressed. I took a 1.5years off work and depended on my family and savings.
I am still struggling mentally and I know that I will not be able to handle the NHS hectic shifts atm. I decided to explore options in healthtech.. possibly in product because clinical experience can be valuable there(which helps with mitigating sunk-cost fallacy, as stupid as it sounds). I took some bootcamps for programming and data analysis. I am thinking about doing a masters in health informatics to prove commitment.
I am lost and I don't know anyone who did such a shift(I am the only doctor in my family). Are there any specific startups that might accept doctors with no formal CS background for internships? If anyone did something similar can you please provide some insights if it's a possible step?
