Stocks and Shares ISA - St. James' Place
Hi, my wife and I have been considering investing a five-figure sum that's currently in our child's child ISA, and moving it to a stocks and shares ISA. We have no experience in investing and decided that we would be happy to pay for advice. On the recommendation of a much more experienced relative, we have had meetings with the person who manages his investments, at St. James' Place.
I've now less confidence in the recommendation after just now reading what others have said about SJP on Reddit. The information in the meetings seemed very convincing to me; and since we don't need access to that money right now, a stocks and shares ISA with SJP seemed like a good option of where to keep it for a few years at least. Do people think this is a bad idea? And, most importantly, are there recommendations about somewhere better to go?
