I picked up this toujours pret field watch the other day. I was looking for something I could beat up everyday (I work in a warehouse). I loved the way it looked and it was on sale, scared me a bit when I couldn’t find anything about it but it’s been fantastic. The time does seem to drift a bit but since it’s fully mechanical when I wind it in the morning I just shift it a bit every few days. It looks and feels great even on my big wrist. I liked the other colors better but I figured black would be better for everyday. Little worried that the acrylic will be a scratch magnet but we’ll see. Here it is before and after some yard work.

Finally getting my degree at 36 so I got myself a graduation gift. I freaking love this thing, it’s my first bolova and the nicest watch in my collection. It’s so comfortable and looks fantastic in person. I’m trying to find excuses to wear it. The only problem is I work in a warehouse and don’t want to ruin it at work.
