Smoked Mother's Day BBQ Babyback Ribs.
Fired up the WSM today to make some Smoked Mother's Day BBQ Ribs for the beautiful Mothers in my life. The ribs were cooked for 7 hours at 225°F. I didn't wrap the ribs at all, I just sprayed with a mix of Apple Juice and Apple Cider Vinegar about every 30 minutes after the first couple hours into the smoke. I also added in some bratwurst at the beginning to smoke. Those are for later this week though.
I ended up running out of fuel this run so I had to stop the cook and refuel which set me back a little bit with the ribs. They could have used another hour at the end but I had everything else done so it was their time as well.
I think they turned out great, aside from needing another hour. I served the smoked BBQ ribs with Mac & Cheese, broiled broccoli and jalapeno cornbread.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers out there!
