Drama, Betrayals, Revenge and Violence. Searching for a Literate, Long-term, Role-play Partner. Medieval/Fantasy/Supernatural.
I'm on the lookout for a long-term partner for a medieval/fantasy roleplay! Someone who loves diving into stories with vampires, werewolves, witches, magic, and hunters!
I may have gone a little overboard with the planning, so I have a character sheet ready along with a document on the vampire lore for the world we are writing in. I’m happy to send them through if you still have interest when you reach the end of this post! Your character does not have to be human!
Contribution to world building is a must!
What’s included in the roleplay:
- A hunter guild that you will have full creative control over, if you want your character to be part of one. There is a corrupt faction or team in this guild that contributes towards the plot that I will have control over.
- I have a major plot arc ready, plus a few side plots that will unfold as we write.
- Plot twists that I have gotten creative with. This will definitely make things more interesting.
- Multiple Antagonists, that I will be writing.
- Our own unique universe that you also have full creative freedom over. Want to write as part of the royal house? Go for it!
About Me:

- I love dark fantasy themes like loss, guilt, blood and gore, violence, moral grey areas, slow burn enemies to lovers, high adrenaline action, and supernatural creatures. I'm looking for someone who can write morally gray/dark characters.
- I tend to mirror my partner's replies.
- My reply pacing varies but I will always let you know if I plan on taking a break or if I might be a while on a reply.

- Must be comfortable writing side characters or their own antagonists.
- !!Is a Literate style writer, and knows what those terms mean!! This isn’t just length, but the quality of the post and the grammar. Adv Semi-Lit will be used for shorter scenes or when needed. A SAMPLE IS SHOWN AT THE END OF THE POST.
- Must be willing to contribute towards the storyline and world-building.
The Main Plot:
Here's what happened: My character, Freya, is a vampire who was taken in by a powerful coven, the same coven that now wants her dead. Their leader Thieal was suddenly murdered, and Freya was the last person seen with him. She claims a hunter did it, that the only scent left in the clearing belonged to that lone killer. But no one believes her. Why would they? Her story has holes and she had knowledge of Thieal’s routine, further cementing suspicion, and it was impossible for a single hunter to kill a vampire his age. Now, she is on the run, burning for revenge against the hunter who destroyed her life while attempting to clear her name.
Here's what Freya doesn't know: Your character didn't do it. They were framed by a corrupt faction inside the Hunter's Guild who has ties with an Ancient vampire from Freya's past.
The hunter she blames? An unfortunate pawn of a much larger game.
So where does this go?
They'll be forced to become reluctant partners in order to reveal the true motive behind Thieal’s death, digging into coven corruption, an ancient vampire war, corrupt hunters, and the ghosts of their own pasts. I need a partner who can help carry the plot and add their own ideas!
Your Character:
You have full creative control. Build your own hunter's organisation, add lore for your character's world (vampires and hunters live very different lives, metaphorically speaking). Create your own antagonists and enemies, maybe someone from their past who wants them dead, or you have your own reason for wanting a coven to fall. You’re welcome to have my character’s Sire and her old coven contribute to a devastating backstory for your character. I have an idea for that. We can explore those threads after the main storyline finishes.

My sample for a literate post:
The sound of crunching snow beneath weighted footsteps caught her attention, causing Vanessa’s gaze to shoot towards the direction of the sound. Her chest struggled to rise properly as she inhaled with a shaky breath, waiting for whatever that had been led to her from the scent of her blood. She was thankful for the numbness brought by the snow as it prevented her from feeling the full effects of her wound, however the thought of being eaten while alive terrified her. She simply hoped it would be quick and it went straight for her throat.
Much to her surprise, it was a man that had found her. She looked towards him with a mixture of disbelief and shock, wondering if it had been an illusion created from the temporary lack of oxygen her brain received when being strangled. Perhaps he was there to strip her body of any valuables she carried on her person, which they would be disappointed by. Vanessa had learned long ago to avoid carrying anything of value during her hunts and kept them hidden away in a place only she and one other person knew the location of.
When he spoke, she looked towards him in momentary silence with red veins mapping the whites of her eyes. She was tempted to reply with sarcasm as the blood poured from her wound, staining the once white snow crimson. She refrained from doing so, knowing the man was simply trying to help. When she first attempted to speak, it came out as a croaked whisper due to her voice box struggling with inflammation and bruising. With a painful swallow, she attempted to communicate again, this time she was able to make her words audible with a choked rasp.
“Below. Ribs.” Each word took every ounce of energy to muster. She could feel her eyes growing heavy as she looked back towards the sky, forcing herself to remain conscious.
