This may top it for the best Wipeout ive gotten so far. And ive been playing since launch day.

Is this something that was added along with the new skill lvl priority thing today? Has this always been here and i just never noticed across leveling damn near every character in the game? What i want to most of all is what actually is a light defensive heavy offensive and a chain defensive? This is from the the yellow parry/swap icon of skills for some more information.
