Trying every Indian food place in north county: update
If you are seeing this it’s probably because you interacted with my last post(s). It’s been a while so I just wanted to give an update.
At the recommendation of many we tried Himalayan Sherpa Cuisine in Carlsbad and I think my search for the best might be over. The palak paneer (my comparison dish) is extraordinary. The tikka masala (lamb, chicken) and other dishes are excellent. Naan is a 7/10 but the flavor of the dishes is so good it’s hard to go anywhere else.
Anyway, this is my 4th time ordering from here in the last 6 weeks and every time is better than the last. I will try other places and take notes but for now, this is the winner of the ~ 7 places I tried between San Marcos and Encinitas.

So any recommendations either need to lobby hard or have compared their recommendation against this place.
I still need to go to the place where the last user said the naan was great. On my list. Can’t remember right now.
