Finally got this working via gamenative. Downloaded directly from steam. Using the default settings on gamehub and increasing container resolution to 1080p. All in-game settings maxed out.

Unfortunately when you try and link it to your Microsoft account it was previously just crashing. My work around was to set up a GitHub account using the same email as my Microsoft account then using the prompt to sign in via that instead. I imagine this should work for any other Microsoft games on steam
