A notable shortcoming of The Legend of Korra is the limited exploration of the original Team Avatar’s later lives. While the series rightly centers on Korra and her journey—and does so with largely well-written characters—it often leaves the fate and development of the original group underexplored. This is particularly surprising given that the Avatar franchise is not a minor or short-lived production, but a global phenomenon with a deeply invested audience.
Therefore, it is reasonable to argue that future installments should place greater emphasis on narrative continuity and historical depth.
