I've bought a used SVS Micro 3000 and there's a faint whine when I put my ear near next to the subwoofer. I have another subwoofer (CA Minx x301) and it's dead silent, is this normal for the SVS Micro?

I'm looking to upgrade my Cambridge Audio Minx X301. Unfortunately I do not have space to put anything much bigger than the Minx. Budget is £600.

Some subwoofers I've found that would fit are:

Kali audio WS 6.2

Svs Micro 3000 (can be bought used under £600)

Bk xls300 (This will just fit in the space if placed sideways)

I also live in an apartment so I can't have anything too big anyway. Which would be best?
