Parking brake engaging by itself! WTH?!?
2026 HRV w/ ~4k mi. The parking brake engages seemingly by itself. This morning again at a random red light. Note that the vehicle was not experiencing any of the following situations:
- shifted to Park
- engine shut-off
- opening of the driver door
- unbuckling of seatbelt
- on an incline
And it happens whether Brake Hold is on or not.
Anyone else experience this or have thoughts?
