I have this ceiling light fixture all over my house and I can't seem to get the glass shade off. I havr tried twisting it to no avail, tried gently pulling to see if its a spring, and the knobs on the fixture base don't seem to be attached to anything. It's a rental, and my landlord has proven to be unreliable and pretty useless in terma of home repair. Any help/how-to vids would be great, thank you! Light is a 40 watt semi flushed ceiling fixture in a single family home. No are codes needed.
