Elnora Epperly - one of the worst mass murderers in American history and one of the most prolific female murderers as well. Location: Davenport Iowa. Date: January 7, 1950 - “St. Elizabeth‘s Hospital Fire”

Elnora Epperly was born on November 2, 1927. She would later marry a man named John Epperly. Elnora would display distressing signs and was diagnosed with schizophrenia I believe. She was committed to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, a location that treated mentally ill women.

On the night of January 7, 1950, a fire broke out in the hospital that caused panic in the city of Davenport. Firefighters rushed to the scene to help battle the flames. A firefighter recounted remembering a patient screaming for help as the fire soon spread. After the fire was stopped, they went in to see the damage. 40 patients succumbed to fire as well as a nurse who tried to help the patients.

That evening John Epperly reluctantly called police to tell of his wife’s confession. She was the one who set the fire. She had pestered him to tell authorities she was the arsonist. Elnora had a habit of confessing to things she didn’t even do and her husband brushed this confession off. But Elnora persisted and he finally called. Elnora was brought in and was soon charged with 41 counts of first degree murder and faced the death penalty by hanging. As police interviewed her, she immediately shut down - an odd thing to do if she was adamant she set the fire. Police tried to question John about Elnora‘s confession, but she threatened to divorce him if he spoke a word of what she said. Nevertheless the confession was told: On the night of the fire, Elnora’s paranoia had gotten to her. She believed her husband was being attacked and needed to save him. Earlier the John had given Elnora his lighter so when the nurses allowed the patients to smoke, she could. She had hidden the lighter from the nurses view and smuggled it back in her room. She torched the curtains in her room to get the attention of nurses so they could free her. It worked as one went in to allow Elnora to get out. Elnora bolted the second the door was open and made a run for, cutting herself in the process.

Police were still skeptical, and the went to the crime scene to see if what she was saying was true. The police found out where the fire started was from Elnora’s room. They later found the glass she cut herself on with her blood on it. Laying in the rubble of the hospital, they found the lighter - It was initialed “John Epperly”. Their findings did confirm, Elnora was the one who set the fire.

Elnora was facing a trial, but the judge ruled her incompetent to stand trial, and admitted her in a mental hospital. They kept the evidence in case she was found competent to stand trial.

It is unknown what happened to her in the mean time, but finding her obituary, she had at least one child with John and multiple grandchildren. It was said she loved to garden, play with her grandchildren, and watch Politics on television. She died on February 29, 2016.

Her case is fascinating but when viewed, it can be polarizing. Even though she had schizophrenia and paranoia, it appeared she knew how wrong her actions were setting the fire by threatening to divorce her husband. She knew right from wrong when she did this. Her case is similar to that of Roger Kingsley Dean - uncaring to those who may be affected by her actions and caring about herself. She is the reckless mass murderer.

The fire is the worst act of mass murder in the history of Iowa as well as the 10th worst mass murder in American history. It is also one of the largest loss of female life in American history. Elnora is also one of the few deadly mass murderers to face some type of Justice - a potential trial. Only Julio Gonzalez, Jack Gilbert Graham, Andrew Zimmer, and Patrick Crusius along with her are the only few who face the consequences of their actions. She also got away with the crime as well, as it appeared she was released from the mental hospital and got to have a family later on in her life.

These are a list of serial killer moms I could find. In a depressing reality, these women are serial killers and their victims are their own children. Their main method of murder is strangling or smothering.

Top half are one who hide their babies away leaving them to decompose in odd places.

Lower half are ones who disguise their babies deaths as SIDS or any natural death.

Characteristics: Have their babies born in secret, before smothering or strangling them right after they were born and dispose of them quickly in cruel and unusual places. Few travel with their babies’s remains after they move to a new home. Often times they forget to dispose of the babies’s corpses leading to their downfall and getting caught when someone discovers the grisly sight. Places where their babies were located: Megan; Her garage, Michele; her closet, Jessica; inside her house’s wall, Dominique; her garden, Andrea; a U-Haul storage facility, Diane; a storage shed.

Characteristics: Murder their babies and disguise it as SIDS or as natural causes. Their main weapon of choice are the babies’s blanket, pillow, or their own hands to smother their children. They usually confess Immediately or years later or are caught when the babies death’s are suspicious.

They kill over a period of time from about a few months to years before they commit the unthinkable. Their motives range from having trouble to being a mother or depression.

On December 25, 1929, Charles Lawson would commit one of the most infamous mass murders and familicides in American history. He gunned down and slaughtered his wife and their 6 children. Before the rampage, he took them to a clothing store and bought them nice outfits to wear before taking a family photo- Which was rare for the time. He then sneaked up on each his family members before hunting them down. He later committed suicide.

Less than 5 months later on May 6, 1930, Ethel Geller Yeldem would commit one of the worst mass shootings and mass murders in Ohio’s History. She gunned down 6 of her 10 children by shooting them in the heart. One of her daughters saw this and escaped screaming “Murder! murder!” But Ethel dragged her back in and killed her. Ethel then tried to commit suicide, but survived her attempt, only to succumb to her wounds days later. Before then Ethel took her kids out and bought them nice clothes like Charles did, and even took a family photo with her 10 children- Rare as well for a family as big as hers- they weren’t necessarily doing well financially. She then sneaked up upon them when they were asleep and murdered them.

Was Ethel inspired by Charles? Although their motives were different - with Ethel’s being more or less a twisted version of a merciful murder Since her life was garbage. But she did the exact same thing Charles Lawson did. If so, she‘s possibly the first copycat mass shooter or copycat family annihilator.

Megan Huntsman and Michele Kalina: Two Neonaticide serial killers who murdered their own babies right after giving birth to them and hiding their bodies in parts of their homes. Megan’s took place in Utah while Michele’s was in Pennysylvania.

Megan and Michele are some of the most identical in crime serial killers in America.

They both were mothers who murdered their babies right after they were born and concealed them in desolate parts of their homes: The garage for Megan and the closet for Michele. Their methods of disposing of the bodies was placing them in various containers they could find in their homes and meticulously sealing them up. They had the same fault of not disposing of the babies’s corpse’s and forgetting the bodies. Eventually, they both had relatives who wanted to clean out the spaces due to the clutter (Megan’s ex-husband and Michele’s daughter) only to discover the grisly scene of multiple corpses of babies. Both even started committing their crimes in the same year: 1996. They somehow successfully hidden all of their pregnancies from their husbands (and gave birth in their bathrooms) without anyone noticing even though both were clearly pregnant. They also had children they let live during their killing cycle. Megan had a daughter she eventually raised, and Michelle had a baby she put up for adoption. Between 1996 and 2010 they gave birth to about 6 babies each and murdered them before stuffing their bodies in whatever they found in their him and placing them in the garage/closet so the bodies can’t be Found.

The two were eventually caught, and gave the same dumbfounded look in their mugshots. They even attributed their actions for their alcohol addiction.

Megan confessed to the crimes while Michele was more unwilling with her claiming all were stillborn except one who moved. They were eventually sentenced to lengthy jail terms and are still in prison.

She was 25 years old. She was from the town of Carlise and was the wife to Travis Goodall a worker. She was employed at McDonald’s where she worked countless sleepless shifts. It appeared both Travis and Barbara worked full time to support their family. On July 3rd, 1999, Barbara-Anne Wyrzykowski drove her five children in her toyota tarago into the desolate bushlands of Karragullen national park before hooking up a hose to the car exhaust and gassing herself and her children. The murders occured on Mark’s 8th birthday. He had enjoyed a day yesterday with his father playing the NES and received 100$ as a gift from him. Travis hadn’t known about the murders until he saw his wife‘s van on the news. It devastated him. Later he found a suicide note she had left. Her motive was sleep deprivation, depression, and parental burnout.

This was the worst murder suicide and worst mass murder in Western Australia’s history until Peter Miles committed the Osmington Shooting almost 20 years later. This event was also one of the largest loss of child life in Australia’s History (Behind Cairns Child massacre, Hope Forest massacre, and the Glover family murders.) This also made Barbara one of the most prolific female murderers and female mass murderer In Australian history, behind Raina Thaiday and Catherine Glover.

Sadly she inspired a copycat. 3 weeks later, Mark Heath, drove his four children into the desolate bushlands before gassing himself and his children: Sarah, 8; Holly, 6; Jak, 4; and Kaleb, 2. Health experts downplayed the possibility, but it was later confirmed her method of murder did indeed inspire him to gas his children.

The event led to Australia questioning of the mental health of parents.

In a twist, she wasn’t buried with her children, instead was buried somewhere else where her children all buried together. This makes her one of the rare female family annihilators to not be buried near her victims.

There is multiple newspaper and reportings on the murders. Apparently, theres footage of the police officers discovering the minivan somewhere and possibly her suicide note.

A forgotten female mass murderer - Janet Danahey. Date: February 15, 2002.

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina.

Background.

Janet was born on August 31, 1978 in Pennsylvania. She later moved to Kearnsville North Carolina with her family, where she’d later become an Olympic Torchbearer for the 1996 Olympics. Janet had previously broken up with an ex and had vandalized his car with cat litter cereal, and Syrup. She paid a fine however and it wasn’t on her record. She had a job making 12$ an hour even though she had a degree in Business. She‘d attend George Bush’s ceremony to be President and protested over it with her sister Emily. “A little girl spat on me.” Janet would say.

Murders.

On the night of February 15, Janet Danahey along with her two roommates, Adrianna Hooks and Nicole Montanni, were eating pasta and drinking wine. Janet had been dumped by her boyfriend of 6 months - Thad Johnson - and she wanted to exact revenge on him. The trio soon bought clam juice and were going to dump it into Thad’s car as a “prank”. They were unable to locate the vehicle and soon returned to their apartment. Still thinking of a way to get back at him, they remembered Janet had some lighter fluid under her sink. Janet got it and the trio headed back out to the Campus Walk Apartments, a structure located near UNC of Greensboro. Janet knew Thad had left some Christmas lights out on the porch and planned to burn it to get his attention. At that time, Adrianne and Nicole sped off fearing they would be caught. Janet was unable to light the Christmas lights on fire and so turned he attention to the futon near the box. She doused it with the lighter fluid and lit a match. She saw a small blue light and giggled and walked off. Unfortunately it had been a windy night and the fire soon grew. Eventually the fire spread to the whole apartment complex. People were jumping out of windows (three floors) to escape the building. Meanwhile, Janet saw this and thought it was fine and it would settle down. The fire department were able to get the fire out as they arrived.

As the fire department were looking through the scene… they found 4 crumpled bodies underneath a stairwell that had collapsed. They were: Ryan Bek, 25; Elizabeth “Beth” Harris, 20; Donna Llewellyn, 24; and Rachel Llewellyn, 21. All were in the third floor unit. Donna and Rachel Llewellyn were sisters living together and the only children of their parents. Ryan Bek was Donna’s boyfriend, and Elizabeth Harris was the roommate of the Llewellyn’s. Elizabeth Harris fell stories to her death as she cracked her head on a concrete slab below. Ryan Bek and Donna and Rachel Llwellyn, burned to death.

Janet immediately after hearing on the news the 4 died, disposed of the evidence and drove to Monroe to be with her parents. Adrianne and Nicole apparently finding out turned Janet in as the led police to where she disposed of the evidence leading to Danahey’s arrest.

Janet went to trial where she faced the Death Penalty under North Carolina’s felony murder rule. However she took a plea deal where she was charged with all four murders and was sentenced to life in prison without parole. During her sentencing she gave a bizarre speech.

“The angels of your children have come to me, and I have touched their hands, and they have told me what it felt like to feel their flesh burn,” she said, prompting gasps from people in attendance. “I know who they are. They are a part of me now. You are my family now. You are stuck with me now. I hurt you, and I will make that better.” 

She also said “I don’t know why Adrianne and Nicole won’t come forward to say they had anything to do with this stupid prank.” After she was sentenced she looked back and gave a smile. Weirdly enough she was imprisoned with two other female mass murderers: Melissa Marvin of the 1999 Kills Devil Hill Crash, and Crystal Gambino, who shot and killed her husband and his two lovers as they had an orgy. Danahey has been a model prisoner apparently, only having a few citations including profanity and lock picking (wonder what that was for.)

In 2012, she was granted clemency by the governor making her eligible for parole in 2029. Then on 2022 Roy Cooper commuted her sentence to allow her to be paroled in 2023. (apparently being the second mass murderer who Cooper commuted a sentence to.) The families were outraged by this wondering how she could be free after taking the lives of 4 people. She was denied parole by the board and continues to be imprisoned according to records.

Janet still maintains it was a “Prank”. But Elizabeth’s brother says it was domestic violence to a tee.

This is a polarizing case with many saying she should be free and others saying she should be in jail.

10 - Seung-Hui Cho, aged 23; Perpetrator of the Virginia Tech Massacre

Location: Blacksburg, Virginia.

On April 16, 2007, Undergraduate Seung-Hui Cho armed with two semi automatic pistols, killed two students in West Amber Johnston Hall, before heading towards Norris Hall, chaining the main entrance shut, and firing into 4 classrooms, killing 30 people. As police surrounded the area, Cho committed Suicide. 32 people died that day. It was the worst mass shooting in American history, until the Pulse Nightclub Massacre.

9 - Elnora Epperly, aged 23;  Perpetrator of the St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Fire

Location: Davenport, Iowa.

On January 7, 1950, A fire broke out on St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for the Mentally Ill, where 41 people were killed. A man named John Epperly called police, telling them reluctantly his wife, Elnora Epperly, had caused the fire. She had insisted on her husband telling them she committed the deed. The interviewers asked her and John why she started it, but Elnora threatened John with divorce if he told them anything. Eventually the truth came out. She suffered from schizophrenia and was admitted into the hospital, explaining why she was there. She had thought her husband was being murdered and quickly thought of a way to get out. She had hidden her lighter she borrowed from her husband and quickly lit a newspaper and her curtains on fire. A nurse quickly ran to Elnora’s room to let her out, and Elnora bolted. To confirm her story, they found the lighter in the rubble, as well as Elnora’s blood on some glass, since she had cut herself while escaping. She was initially convicted of first degree murder, but due to her state, the charges were let go. She is the only one to get off scot free, as she lived a full life and died in 2016. She is the deadliest female American mass murderer.

8 - David Burke, age 35; Perpetrator of the Pacific Southwest Airlines Flight 1771  Crash.

Location: Los Angeles, California.

On December 7, 1987, A disgruntled employee who was angered he was fired after stealing, shot and killed the two pilots, as well as his boss who fired him. He then deliberately crashed it, killing 42 people. This was what he said: “Hi Ray. I think it's sort of ironical that we end up like this. I asked for some leniency for my family. Remember? Well, I got none and you'll get none.”

7 - Francisco Paula Gonzales, aged 27; Perpetrator of the Pacific Air lines Flight 773 Crash.

Location:  Contra Costa County, California 

On May 7th, 1964, a depressed man, sad over his divorce and financial troubles, boarded Pacific Air lines Flight 773, shot dead the two pilots, before killing himself, as the plane crashed.

6 - Thomas Doty, aged 34; Perpetrator of the Continental Airlines Flight 11 Explosion.

Location:  Centerville, Iowa

On May 22, 1962, Thomas Doty, purchased six sticks of dynamite, hid them in his suitcase and went to the lavatory, and ignited the dynamite, killing over 44 people on board. The motive was to commit insurance fraud so his wife can collect 300,000$. Needless to say, as she tried to collect it, it did not work.

5- Jack Gilbert Graham, aged 23; Perpetrator of the United Airlines Flight 629 explosion.

Location: Longmont Colorado.

On November 1, 1955, Jack Graham, planted a bomb in his mother’s suitcase as revenge for his childhood and to obtain a huge life insurance payout. He killed 44 people, including his mother. In the span of 15 months, he was tried, convicted of murder, sentenced to death, and executed.

4- Andrew Kenoe, aged 55; Perpetrator of the Bath School Disaster.

Bath Township, Michigan 

On May 18, 1927, Andrew Kehoe angry he lost election for town clerk,, hid dynamite underneath the Bath School and detonated it, killing 38 people at first. Kehoe returned to the school to detonate more explosives where During a stuggle with a Superintendent who caught him, Kehoe Detonated the explosive, killing himself, the Superintendent, a child who survived the initial attack, and three more people. Later investigators went to his property finding it detonated as well as the corpse of his wife whom he murdered before his attack. The Bath School Disaster remains the deadliest incident at a school in American History.

3 - Omar Mateen, aged 29; Perpetrator of the Pulse Nightclub Massacre.

Location: Orlando, Florida.

On June 12, 2016, Omar Mateen walked into a gay Nightclub, Pulse, and began firing and killing over 49 people. It was a terrorist attack and revenge for the death of  Abu Waheeb. Omar pledged to ISIS during a 9-1-1 call with a dispatcher. After a three hour standoff, he was finally killed by police. It was the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history, until the Las Vegas Shooting a year later. 

2 - Stephan Paddock, aged 64; perpetrator of the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival Massacre.

Location: Las Vegas Nevada.

On October 1st, 2017, Stephan Paddock armed with an arsenal of rifles and ammunition, broke the window from the hotel he was staying at and fired rapidly at the music goers at the festival killing 58 people and injuring over 800. As police made their way to his hotel room, he committed suicide. It is the deadliest mass shooting in American History. Over the course of two years, 2 more people would succumb to their wounds, bringing the total to 60.

1 - Julio González, aged 35; perpetrator of the Happy Land Fire.

Location: New York City, New York.

On March 25th, 1990, Julio, pressuring his girlfriend to quit her job, was thrown out of the Happy Land Social Club drunkinly saying: “Shut this place down!” And “I’ll be coming back.” He soon returned back to the club with a 1$ worth of Gasoline and spreaded the fuel at the base of the staircase, the only entrance to the club, and ignited it. 87 people would die in the resulting fire. His girlfriend, who escaped the fire, told investigators of the argument. They went to Julio’s apartment and told him his rights, as Julio immediately confessed to the fire. He was convicted of second degree murder and first degree arson and was sentenced 25 years to life in prison. He died of a heart attack in 2016.

Perpetrators: Kenneth Junior French, William Kruetzer Jr., Mary Ann Holder and Austin Thompson.

On August 6, 1993, Kenneth Junior French, a fort bragg soldier, angry that Clinton lifted the ban on Homosexual people to serve in the army as well as African Americans and Women being accepted in, went to Luigi’s Restaurant, and opened fire on many of the patrons eating yelling about politics in the process. He killed the two elderly owners and two patrons and wounded 7 others. He was shot by police, but subsequently survived and was sentenced to life in prison. He was featured in the documentary “Licensed to Kill”.

On October 27, 1995, William Kruetzer Jr., another fort bragg soldier, opened fire on physical training course killing one and injuring 18 more. He was sentenced to death, before being resentenced to life in prison.

On November 20, 2011, Mary Ann Holder, snapped after her affiar ended and shot her son, his girlfriend, and her niece and nephew, before going to meet her affair partner, whom she shot and injured, before driving to pick up her son from a sleepover, where she subsequently shot him before committing suicide. All of the kids succumbed to their wounds.

On October 13, 2022, Austin Thompson, went on a shooting spree in his Raleigh neighborhood, first killing  his older brother at home , before killing 4 of his neighbors. He was soon in a shootout with police, before he tried to commit suicide. He survived and was sentenced to life in prison.

Perpetrators: Emanuel Kidega Samson (2017) , Travis Reinking (2018) , Audrey Hale (2023) , and Solomen Henderson (2025). Covenant School is 30 Minutes away, while the other three take place in the same area.

on September 24, 2017, Emanuel Kidega Samson, went to Antioch Church to shoot white people as an act of revenge for the Charleston Church, Injuring 6 people and killing one person. He was sentenced to life in prison.

On April 22, 2018, Travis Jeffrey Reinking, killed 4 people at a wafflehouse and injured 2 others before fleeing and being captured shortly afterwards. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

On March 27, 2023, Audrey Hale went to the Covenant School in Nashville, and killed 3 staff members and 3 students. She was killed by the police immediately, stopping anymore people from dying.

 On January 22, 2025, Solomon Henderson brought a gun to Antioch High School, where he killed one student before committing suicide

Perpetrators: Michael David Clagett and Denise Rayne Holsinger (1994), Dewayne Craddock (2019) , Andre Bing (2022) , and Mohamed Bailor Jalloh (2026).

On June 30, 1994, Clagett and Holsinger went to Holsinger’s former workplace, the Witchduck Inn,  and killed the owner, two of her former coworkers, and a patron. The duo were later captured and charged separately. Clagett was sentenced to death and executed in 2000, while Holsinger was sentenced to life in prison.

On May 31, 2019, disgruntled employee, Dewayne Craddock went to his workplace and killed 12 of his coworkers before being killed by police in a shootout. It is the second deadliest workplace shooting.

On November 22, 2022, Andre Bing, killed 6 of his coworkers at Walmart,  due to perceived harassment from his fellow colleagues. He committed suicide afterwards.

On March 12, 2026, Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, attacked a corps group at Old Dominion University, killing an instructor before being stabbed to death from the group subduing him.

Perpetrators: John Parish (1982),  Abdelkrim Belachheb (1984), Larry Ashbrook (1999), Robert Wayne Harris (2000), Angelica Vasquez (2013), Guadalupe Ronquillo-Orvalle (2013), Mauricio Garcia (2023) and Seung Ho and Ae Son Han (2026)

On August 9, 1982, John Parish did two separate shooting sprees at warehouses he worked at killing six, before fleeing in a stolen semi truck and crashing into another building. He was subsequently killed in a police shootout.

On June 29, 1984, Abdelkrim Belachheb opened fire in the Ianni's Restaurant and Club bar killing six people before fleeing in his truck. He was subsequently captured and arrested for his crime. He later died in prison in 2017.

On September 15, 1999, Larry Gene Ashbrook entered Wedgeworth Baptist Church where a band was playing music, and shot and killed 7 people, most of whom were teenagers, and injured 4 others. He committed suicide shortly after he was done. Motive was that he despised Christians.

On March 20, 2000, after being fired from his job for sexual conduct, Robert Wayne Harris returned to his former workplace, the MI-T-Fine Car Wash,  and shot and killed 5 employees. He was soon arrested and executed in 2012.

On March 8, 2013, Angelica Vasquez shot and killed her husband and two adult children while they were sleeping before killing herself. To this day, no one knows why she murdered her entire family.

On September 19, 2013, Guadalupe Ronquillo-Orvalle, shot and killed her husband, and her three young sons, before committing suicide. Her motive is murky as well, but police investigating it narrowed it down: Domestic violence. Guadalupe was constantly abused by her husband, who constantly broke her phone and took the battery out of it and reportedly hit her. He was arrested a week before the massacre, for hitting her. But for killing her children, it remains unknown.

On May 6, 2023, Maurico Garcia, filled by hateful ideologies, committed a shooting at Allen Mall, killing and annihilating an entire family in the process. He was soon killed by police.

On May 5, 2026, Husband and Wife Seung and Ae Han, after being scammed out of 75,000$, went on a shooting spree in Carrollton Koreantown, killing 3 people who wronged them. Afterwards they went and had McDonald’s and during this period, Seung helped Ae escape to Minnesota. Seung was arrested and Ae was extradited  back to Texas.

The Winnetka Rampage,The Brown’s Chicken Massacre, The Navistar Shooting, The Northern Illinois University shooting, The Lane Byrant Massacre, The Aurora Illinois Shooting, The Magnificent Mile Shooting, The Highland Park, and the Joliet Shooting. All about 3 hours drive from each other. Same Area - all about 30 Minutes and 1 hour from each other.

Perpetrators: Laurie Dann, Juan Luna and James Degorski, William Baker, The Lane Byrant Killer, Steven Phillip Kazmierczak, Gary Montez Martin, Jaylun Sanders, Robert Crimo III, and Romeo Nance.

Winnetka Rampage - On May 20, 1988, Laurie Dann, carried out a bizarre series of attacks in Winnetka, lacing treats with arsenic, trying to burn down multiple buildings and shot up a school, killing a student in the process, before taking a family hostage. She later committed suicide.

Brown’s Chicken Massacre - On January 8, 1993, Luna and Degorski, held the two owners and 5 employees hostage, before robbing the place and killing all 7. The duo stacked their bodies up in two different coolers and cleaned the scene up. It was one of Illinois's most brutal crimes and one of the largest unsolved mass shootings in the United States at the time. The case was soon solved in 2002, from a half eaten chicken bone one of the perpetrators left behind at the scene. The duo were sentenced to life in prison. The shooting took place about  30 minutes away from where the Highland Park Shooting would occur 29 years later.

The Navistar Shooting - on February 5, 2001, William Baker would kill 5 of his former colleagues before committing suicide at the Navistar Engine Plant. He was previously involved in a conspiracy for trying to steal from the plant.

The Lane Byrant Massacre - On February 2, 2008, An Unknown man went into a Lane Byrant Store, pulled a gun out on the two employees and 4 customers, before tying them up, raping one of them, before shooting all 6 women. One of the two employees was the sole survivor. She was able to turn her head away at the right moment. The Lane Byrant Massacre is considered the largest unsolved mass shooting in modern American history.

The Illinois University Shooting - 12 days later from the events of the Lane Byrant Shooting, Steven Kazmierczak, would shoot 21 one of his classmates, killing 5 in the process before committing suicide.

The Aurora Illinois Shooting - On February 15, 2019,  Gary Martin would return to his workplace killing 5 of his former colleagues before being killed by police.

The Magnificent Mile Shooting -On May 19, 2022, Jaylun Saunders would open fire on a shopping district killing 2 people and injuring 8 others. He was later captured and sentenced to 43 years in prison.

The Highland Park Shooting - the same year on the 4th of July, Robert Crimo III would shoot and injure over 48 people and kill 7 during a 4th of July Parade. He later escaped the scene and fled in his mother’s car contemplating committing another massacre. He was subsequently captured after they identified him from a gun he dropped on the building he fired from. He was sentenced to 7 consecutive life sentences and 2,400 years.

The Joliet Shooting-  On January 21, 2024, Romeo Nance, went on a shooting spree annihilating 7 of his relatives including a stranger, at 3 different locations, before fleeing to Texas. He was soon spotted by police, and in the shoot out between them, he committed suicide.

On May 24, 2000 In Queens New York City, a former employee and his accomplice walked into the Queen’s Wendy’s, taking 7 of the employees hostage and tying them up in the coolers, before shooting them all execution style. Two of the employees survived, but the 5 others succumbed their wounds. They then robbed the restaurant stealing 2,400$. The two were caught and The mastermind was originally sentenced to death, but was commuted to life in prison. The shooting remains as the deadliest mass shooting in New York City.

In an ironic fate for the mastermind, he is imprisoned at the Wende Correctional Facility.

The Robb Elementary shooting would occur on the same date 22 years later, making May 24, one of the deadliest mass shooting days in recent memory as 26 people lost their lives.

Location: Clare County, Michigan

Judy Marie Boyer was born October 18, 1967 to Linda and Henry Boyer. She was presumably, the youngest child of her family. She had an Older sister named Patricia and and a Brother named Eric. Not much is currently known about her life but from some research she was (possibly) married and bore a child named Henry Green. She seemed a bit kooky though. It appeared there was some tension in the family however given the circumstances of the crime. Oddly enough she lived right across the street from her sister and father.

October 20, 2021. On that day, Judy snapped and planned a killing spree and had a hit list of people to kill. There were only 4 known people she planned to kill: Her father, her sister, her own son, and an unknown individual. Judy armed with a 22.caliber rifle and wearing micky mouse long pants, went over to her father and sisters home and shot and killed them. She then hid the bodies in the shed. At some point Cousins, Zachary Salminen and Wade Bacon as well as Judy’s Nephew Ryan Beatty (Patricia’s Son) went over to the Boyer residence to fix the roof and stove for Mr. Boyer. Judy, probably not knowing this, invited Wade and Salminen inside so they can speak to her father As Ryan went to look for his mother and grandfather. That’s when he heard gunshots in the house and ran to the living room. There he discovered the mangled bodies of Wade and Zachary - Judy had shot them - Blowing half of Wade’s face off in the process. Ryan saw his aunt pointing at him and stopped her saying he can help get rid of the evidence. (He was probably fearing for his life) As he helped her escape, Henry Green came over, unknowingly seeing his cousin help his mother escape from her crimes. Ryan immediately told him what his mother did and the two called the police. The police soon captured Judy and arrested Ryan for helping her. Ryan was soon dismissed since he feared for his life when helping her, making him innocent. Judy was subsequently charged with two counts of 1st Degree Murder for her sister and brother, and two counts of Second Degree for the handymen. She was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Judy actually committed the worst mass murder in her county in over 40 years since the Rock Road Massacre - One of Michigan’s Worst Mass Murders Committed by Robert Lee Haggart Back in 1982. The Massacre’s both occurred on the same street and were 15 minutes away from each other. She is also one of Michigan’s Worst Mass Murderers. Her case was mainly overshadowed by The Oxford High School Shooting that happened about a month later.

America: Aubrianne Moore - 28 - Committed the Kent County Murders. Date February 18, 2019. A mother suffering from mental problems, shot and killed all three of her daughters. Status: Deceased. She committed suicide after doing the act. Victims: 8-year-old Kyrie Rodery, 6-year-old Cassidy Rodery and 2-year-old Alaina Rau

America: Olivia Johnson - 26 - Committed the Chestnut Street Shootings In Memphis. Date: April 20, 2019. After a fight broke out, Johnson shot at 7 people, injuring all of them which included a teenager. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. After the shooting, she was arrested and taken to prison. No one was killed.

America: Alec McKinney (Legal Name Maya McKinney) - 16 - committed the Stem Shooting with their accomplice Devon Erickson. Date: May 7, 2019. A confusing motive for the plan, Alec was made to be the mastermind with Devon as the unwilling accomplice. They went to Stem Highlands Ranch School where Mckinney wounded 4 and Erickson wounded 2. There the duo were jumped on by a heroic student as other started to tackle them. The Heroic Student was killed by Devon in the ensuing chaos. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. McKinney was sentenced to life in prison with a chance of parole.  Victim: Kendrick Castillo (18)

America: Ashley Auzenne - 39 - Committed the Auzenne Family Murders. Date: October 29, 2019.  After a welfare check was issued for Ashley, police discovered the bodies of her 3 children and herself in the house. She had killed her children in what was presumably revenge, after divorcing her husband. Ironically, she publically expressed "anti-violent gun" views despite killing her kids. Victims: 11-year-old Parrish, 9-year-old Eleanor, and 7-year-old Lincoln Auzenne.

America: Francine Graham - 50 - Committed the Jersey City Shooting along with her boyfriend, in New Jersey. Date: December 7-10, 2019. Graham and her boyfriend, David Anderson, shot a detective before going to a kosher store killing the owner, an employee, and a customer. They also killed a man days before the shooting. A possible motive was that the couple were both Black Supremacists, involved in the Black Isrealites. Victims: Joseph Seals (40), Mindy Ferenez (33) Douglas Rodriguez (49), and Moshe Duetsch (24)

America: Ashley Porter - 34 - Committed the Tulsa Oklahoma Mall Shooting. Date: March 27, 2020. Ashley started to fire randomly on people, injuring 5. Status: Deceased. She was killed by a security guard who stopped her rampage. Her motive is unknown.

America: Brittany Tucker - 30 - Committed the Monroe County Shooting in Louisiana. Date: June 11, 2020. A woman with a history of mental problems, returned to her apartment with a gum where she killed her neighbor for reportedly laughing at her. She proceeded to her own apartment and shot her 6 children. 4 of them died where the other two survived. Status: Deceased - Committed suicide. Victims: Antisha Logwood, Tremayne Tucker, 12; Treshelle Tucker, 8; Treasure Tucker, 5; and Gloria Tucker, 5 months old.

America: Gloricia Woody - 32 - Committed the Oklahoma McDonald’s Shooting. Date: May 6, 2020. After an argument over Covid restrictions in the dining area, she shot and wounded 5 workers. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. She was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

America: Oreanna Myers - 25 - Committed the Williamsburg Massacre. Date: December 8, 2020. Suffering from mental health, she shot her 3 biological children and her two stepchildren, before setting the house on fire. Status: Deceased. After burning down the house, she left suicide notes apologizing for actions. She walked over to a picnic table before shooting herself. It is the worst mass shooting in West Virginia.  Shaun Dawson Bumgarner (stepson, age 7), Riley James Bumgarner (stepson, age 6), Kian Myers (biological son, age 4), Aarikyle Nova Myers (biological son, age 3), and Haiken Jirachi Myers (biological son, age 1)

America: Jaquita Justine Chase -  31 -  Committed the Christmas Day Murders in Arkansas - Date: December 26, 2020. Chase shot and killed her three daughters and her mother. Status: Deceased. After police discovered the grisly sight, they discovered Jaquita committed suicide. Patricia Patrick, her 61-year-old mother, Abigail Heflin, her 12-year-old daughter,  Levenah Countryman, her 10-year-old daughter, and Danielle Collins, her 7-year-old daughter.

America: Jazzmine Hall - 29 - Committed the Athens Murders - On a tragic day in Athens, Tennessee, . in September 25, 2021, an argument over a custody dispute of Jazzmine’s child turned into violence when she shot and killed Brandy Harris, age 39, Jesse Dupree, age 40, Skylar Hawn, age 24, and Trevon Hall, age 36, her husband. She was sentenced to life in prison.

America: Judy Boyer - 55 - Committed the Grant Township Massacre. Location: Michagan. Date: October 20, 2021. Judy went to her father’s home and shot and killed him, as well as her older sister. Unfortunately, two roofers ,who were working on the house, were shot and killed as well. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. She was found guilty of her crimes and sentenced to life in prison. She had a list of other potential victims she wanted to kill. Victims: Henry Boyer, 85,  Patricia Boyer, 61, Zachary Salminen, 36, and Wade Bacon, 39.

Russia: Polina Dvorkina - 19 - Attempted the Krasnoyarsk kindergarten shooting. Date: March 28, 2022. Expressing anti-male views, she shot and killed her father, before going to the Krasnoyarsk Kindergarten planning to shoot the children there. Luckily she was apprehended by a worker. Status Alive and Incarcerated.

America: Celeste Michele Saunders - 57 - Committed the Gwinnett County School Bus shooting in Georgia. Date: May 9, 2022.  Saunders open fire on a school bus that had 4 kindergarteners and the driver. No one was killed. Status: Unknown. She is alive, but there had been no other reports of the incident. She is the oldest known female mass shooter in America.

America: Raissa Kengne - 32 - Committed the Midtown Atlanta Shooting. Date: Circa August 22, 2022.  She shot two of her coworkers at the 1280 West condos, killing one and injuring another.  She then also shot and  killed her former supervisor. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Victims: Michael Shinners and Wesley Freeman

America: Khosay Sharifi - 31 - Committed the Lynn Massachusetts Rampage. Date: August 24, 2022. She drove to the houses of her father and brother in law  and shot and killed them both. She also shot and killed her brother in law’s father. Status: Deceased. She committed suicide in a grocery store parking lot. A possible motive was domestic abuse she suffered and claimed no on helped her. Victims: Mohamad Sharifi (father) her brother-in-law (Sanjar Halin), and her brother-in-law's father (Abdul Halin)

Australia: Stacey Train - 45  - committed the Wieambilla Siege. Date: December 12, 2022. Along with her husband Nathaniel and his Brother Gareth, they shot at constables who were coming because of a welfare check on  Nathaniel. They killed two, along with killing  their neighbor, who came outside to see the commotion. This is rare for a mass shooting in Australia, as well as there being 3 shooters. Status: Deceased. The Train’s were subsequently shot and killed, ending their terror. A motive or explanation, stems from their Christian fundamentalist beliefs that drove the trio into a state of psychosis. Victims: Constables Matthew Arnold (26) and Rachel McCrow (29) and  the Neighbor, Alan Dare (58)

America: Audrey Hale - 28 - Committed the Covenant School Shooting in Tennessee. Date: March 27, 2023. After feeling like she had nothing left to lose and after years of not letting go of her  childhood, decided to commit a school shooting to achieve infamy. She shot the custodian first, three students and the substitute teacher second, before being confronted by the headmaster and killing her instantly. Status: Deceased - After hearing of an active shooter, police officers stormed the school and immediately took out Audrey. Most of the people she shot were surprisingly alive, but later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. She was transgender and was called “Aiden Hale” but from her writings she frequently flipped around the subject. Her last entry she wrote was “Audrey”. In technical terms, she was the worst  female shooter since Jennifer San Marco.  Victims: Katherine Koonce (60), William Kinney, Hallie Scruggs, and Evelyn Dieckhaus (all aged 9), Mike Hill and Cynthia Peak (Both Aged 61)

Suzanne Laprise - 51 - Committed the Plainville Police Department Shooting in Connecticut. Date: October 5, 2023. Drunk after drinking to much, she walked into the department and opened fire inside. No one was injured however since she fired at the bullet proof glass. Status: Alice and Incarcerated. She was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Russia: Alina Afanaskina - 15 - Committed the Bryansk school shooting. Date: December 7, 2023.  She walked into the schools gymnasium, where she shot and killed one student and wounded 5 others. Status: Deceased committed suicide. A possible motive was that she was fascinated with other school shootings. One being Columbine. Victim: Maria Nesmachnaya (14)

Genesse Moreno - 36 -  Committed the Lakewood Church Shooting - Date: February 11, 2024. Moreno opened fire inside a Lakewood Church, a megachurch located in Houston, Texas. Moreno brought her 7-year-old son with her as a human shield. Before she could encounter churchgoers, she exchanged fire with two security guards. During the exchange, she shot and injured one of the guards; her son was also injured in the crossfire. She herself was ultimately killed by the guards' gunfire. The AR-15 rifle she used had a “Palestine” sticker on it and antisemitic writings were found at her property, perhaps suggesting an ideological motive. America: Taylon Nichelle Celestine - 22 -  Committed the Florida Highway Shootings. Date: April 8, 2024. Celestine, armed with a handgun, shot at people in moving vehicles on Interstate 10 between mile markers 107 and 112 in Bonifay, Florida. Two people were wounded. She claimed she did it because God told her too from an Eclipse. There was no Eclipse in the area at the time that happened. Status: Alive and Incarcerated.

America: Natalie “Samantha” Rupnow

Committed the Abundant Life Christian School Shooting In Wisconsin. Date: December 16, 2024. After being radicalized on the internet and having an obsession with Columbine, went to her school killing her substitute teacher and her classmate and injuring 6 others. Status: Deceased- Committed Suicide. Victims: Erin West (42) and Rubi Vergara (14)

America: Tranyelle Harshman - 32 - Committed the Harshman Family Murders in Wyoming. Date: February 10, 2025. Suffering from post partum depression, she shot and killed her two twin daughters and two stepdaughters. She called the police and briefly told what she did, and where to find them. Status: Deceased. Committed suicide. She was alive however, but succumbed to her injuries. Her eldest stepdaughter initially survived, but succumbed to her injuries as well. Victims: Brailey (9) and Oliva Blackmer (7), Brooke and Jordon Harshman (2) .

America: Hallie Helms - 22 - Committed the UW Platteville Shooting in Wisconsin. Date: May 19, 2025. Hallie Shot and killed another student in an isolated incident. Hallie later committed suicide and the student succumbed to her injuries. Victim: Kelsie Martin, 22

America: Latoya A. Powell - 44 - One of the suspects in the Leland Shooting. 19 people were shot during a homecoming game on October 11, 2025. She is one of the suspects. Potential Victims:

This is a list of all the documented shooters I can find. This is pulled together from lists made on reddit and searching up active shooters. This adds new information and details. Most lists are incomplete from what I've found documenting female shooters. One got the year wrong for a notable one. And Im 99% sure this includes the 33 active american female shooters released by the FBI (Jennifer San Marco to Natalie Rupnow.) This is also mashup of my previous posts and adding of other ones I didn't know about. There was surprisingly a lot I missed, including one that happened in the same year as two of the more recent female shooters, Nasim Aghdam and Snochia Mosely. Anyway, Most Female Range in age from about 19- 44 with the oldest being 54 and 57, and the youngest being 12 and 14. Most shooters are from America with 2 being from Russia and Australia. The main weapon of choice is a Rifle and handguns, with half of the shootings using Rifles. Many of the shootings are Family Annihalations with the other half being workplace violence. There are family annihilations with people killed in the chaos most being neighbors. There are a few I think I missed, so here they are: Ruth Dryfoos (34) - First known Female School Shooter- Shot at her husband's college in March of 1967 wounding 2 people. Strangely, its the same College Victoria Soto, One of the teachers of Sandy Hook attended.

An Unnamed 12 year shot up a school in March of 2022 wounding 3. Her name has not been released.

Britain: Florence Ransom - 34 - Happened July 9, 1940. In a jealous rage against her affair partner choosing his wife over her, She got a shotgun from her brother to “Shoot Rabbits” and went to her lover’s house where she killed his wife and his daughter. The family maid came out to see the commotion and tried to flee after seeing Florence with the shotgun. Florence then proceeded to blow the head off of the maid. After killing the women, she tried to stage the house as a robbery gone wrong. She just broke some cluttery and messed up the house. Florence then proceeded to flee, neglecting that she had dropped one of her leather gloves and leaving her bicycle behind after she crashed it. The police soon traced the glove and bike back to her where she was arrested. Status: Unknown (Presumably Deceased) Florence was later sentenced to death, but was commuted to an insane asylum. Her whereabouts are unknown. Victims: Dorothy Fisher, her daughter, Freda, 19, and the maid, Charlotte Saunders

America: Opal Collins - 26 - Happened October 26, 1956. Location: Indiana. 23 days after her new marriage fell apart with her paraphilegic husband filing for divorce, She shot and killed his two sisters, mother, before she killed him in bed. Status: Deceased. She was arrested and became the first woman in Indiana’s history to be sentenced to the Electric chair. However, she was soon paroled and released. She died peacefully in a nursing home in 1998. Victims: Her husband, Ben Collins Jr., Her mother-in-law, Julia Collins, and Her sisters-in-law, Mary Sue and Martha Ann Collins 

America: Caril Ann Fugate - 14 - Happened January 21 - 29, 1958. Location: Nebraska. Accomplice of the Starkweather Homicides with her Boyfriend Charles Starkweather. A couple who went on a killing rampage throughout Nebraska, killing 11 people, including Fugate’s own family. Caril Ann Fugate’s involvement is polarizing with two sides debating on if she was an accomplice or hostage. It’s speculated during their rampage, she killed Carol King and Clara Fencl, two of the victims. Status: Alive and Free. She was originally sentenced to life in prison without parole, but was freed in 1976. As of 2026, she is still alive and has been trying to get her criminal record wiped clean.

America: Patricia Krenwinkel, Susan Atkins, Linda Kasabian, and Leslie Van Houten - 22, 21, 20, and 20 - Committed the Tate-LaBianca Murders. Happened August 9-10, 1969 in Los Angeles California. Part of Charles Manson’s Cult, they were instructed to kill the occupants in 10050 Cielo Drive and 3301 Waverly Drive, which included Sharon Tate and the executive of a supermarket. They killed a total of 8 people. Status: Krenwinkel - Alive and Incarcerated. Kasabian - Deceased. Atkins - Deceased . Van Houten - Alive and Free

America: Brenda Spencer - 16-  Perpetrator of the Cleavland Elementary School Shooting in California. Happened January 29, 1979. Killed the Principal and Custodian and injuried 7 kids. Was bored apparently and decided to do the shooting. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Victims: Burton Wang (51) and Mike Suchar (56)

America: Sylvia Seegrist - 25 - Perpetrator of the Springfield Mall Shooting in Pennsylvania. October 30, 1985. Killed a toddler and two senior citizens. A mentally ill woman with a fascination of the military and James Huberty. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Victims: Recife Cosmen (2), Augusto Ferrara (64), and Earl Trout (67)

America: Heather Smith - 14 - Perpetrator of the Spanaway High School Shooting in Washington State.Date: November 26, 1985. Killed her Boyfriend after dumping her and also killed his best friend who was trying to protect him. It was later revealed that Heather was pregnant. She is the youngest known female mass shooter.

Status: Deceased - Committed Suicide after exchanging gunfire with the police. Victims: Gordon Pickett (15) and Christopher Ricco (14)

America: Lafonda Foster (23) and Tina Powell (28) - Committed the Lexington Massacre -Date: April 23, 1986. Both Girlfriends whom On a drug fueled rampage and in a desperate search for more drugs, killed five friends in an attempt to cash in one of the victims social security checks, before stabbing, shooting, 4 of them before running over another. Status: Foster - Alive and Sentenced  to Death and Recommuted to life. Powell -  Alive and Incarcerated. They are the only known mass shooting female duo from my knowledge. Victims: Carlos Kearns, 73 / Virginia Kearns, 45 / Trudy Harrell, 59 / Jimmy Roger Keene, 47 / Theodore Sweet, 52

America: Cindy Piccot- 21 - Committed the Coastal Training Institute Shooting.

Cindy Piccot went to a typing class where she gunned down her girlfriend who had burned Cindy, leaving her with horrific scars. Status: Deceased - Committed suicide. Victim: Shamette Allen (20) 

America: Frances Newton - 22 - Committed the Newton Family Murders - Location: Texas Date: April 7th, 1987. She shot her husband and two children in an effort to get insurance money. She was apprehended and arrested by police. Status: Deceased- she was given the death penalty and executed in 2005. She is the only known female shooter to be executed. Victims: Adrian, age 23, her 7-year-old son, Alton, and her 22-month-old daughter, Farrah.

Laurie Dann - 30 - Perpetrator of the Winnetka Rampage in Illinois. Date: May 20, 1988. A woman with a history of mental problems Delivered poisoned snacks, Shot 6 kids at a school killing one, and taking a family hostage. Victim: Nicholas ”Nicky” Corwin (8)

America: Elizabeth Teague - 30 - Commited the Eveready battery plant in Bennington shooting in Missouri. Date: October 30, 1991.  A Mentally ill woman shot and killed her for boss and wounded two of her coworkers. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Victim: Jonathan Perryman

America: Laura Jeanne Taylor (16) and Heather Matthews (20) committed the Dayton Ohio Murders in Ohio along with Heather’s boyfriend DeMarcus Maurice Smith, and Laura’s boyfriend Marvallous Matthew Keene. Date: December 24-26, 1992. A gang who robbed and or silenced 6 people on a shooting rampage. Status: Both Alive and Incarcerated. Laura, Heather, and DeMarcus were sentenced to live in prison, while Marvallous was Executed in 2009. Victims: Joseph Wilkerson, 34; Danita Gullette, 18; and Sarah Abraham, 38 / Wendy Cottrill, 16, and Marvin Washington, 18

America: Angela Jane Johnson - 29 - Committed the Iowa Murders in Iowa with her Boyfriend. Date July 24, 1993. In an attempt to derail a drug investigation, Angela along with her boyfriend Dustin Honken, killed a man, his girlfriend and her two daughters. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Victims: Greg Nicholson, his girlfriend, Lori Ann Duncan, 31, and her two daughters, Kandace Duncan, 10, and Amber Duncan, 6 / Terry DeGeus, 32

America: Denise Rayne Holsinger - 29 - Committed the Virginia Bar Murders with her boyfriend Michael David Clagett. Date: June 30th, 1994. She was the main mastermind. In revenge for being fired, she asked her boyfriend to help commit a robbery at her former workplace. There they held the manager, two employees, and a patron hostage, before robbing them and killing all four. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Clagett was sentenced to death by electric chair and executed in 2000, while She was sentenced to life in prison. Victims: Lam Van Son (owner), Karen Sue Rounds (waitress), Wendel G. "J.R." Parrish Jr. (cook), and Abdelaziz Gren(patron)

France: Florence Rey - 19 - Involved in the Rey-Maupin Affair with her boyfriend Audry Maupinn. Date: October 4, 1994. After a robbery, Rey and Maupin hijacked a taxi and killed the driver, before having a shootout with police, killing 3 officers. During the shootout, Maupin was killed and Florence was captured. Status: Alive and Free. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison but was released quietly in 2009. She has since become a recluse. Amadou Diallo, 49 (taxi driver) / Thierry Maymard, 30 , Laurent Gérard, 25 , Guy Jacob, 37 ( all police officers)

Antoinette Frank - 24 - Committed the Kim Ahn Murders in Louisiana along with her boyfriend, Rogers LaCaze. Date: March 3-4 1995. Unlike the rest of the woman who were accomplices, she was actually the mastermind apparently considering some sources and her harsher punishment. She shot and killed two restaurant workers and a security guard before fleeing the scene and coming back as - a police officer to investigate the scene. Yes she was a Cop. Status: Alive and sentenced to death. Victims: Ronald Williams, 25, an off-duty New Orleans cop, and two of the restaurant owner's children, Cuong Vu, 17, and Ha Vu, 24

Esther Beckley - 40 - Committed the Hollywood Video Murders with her boyfriend Shane Harrison in New Mexico. Date: March 3, 1996. Considered the worst crime in New Mexico’s history, three Hollywood Video Employees were gunned down in the backroom of the store. Later cousins of the male victim, Zachary Blacklock, revealed that their grandparents were going to pick up Zachary but have not returned home. A couple later found the grandparents- executed in the mountains. Status: Alive and Incarcerated- Blabbing to her former lover about her crimes, he turned her and Shane in to get the reward money for information on the murders (93,000$). Shane did most of the killing, but it’s speculated that Esther may have also killed the grandparents with Shane due to their being two types of guns that killed them, but in exchange for testimony against Shane, they charged her for being an accessory.  Victims: Zachary Blacklock (19), Jowanda Castillo (18), and Mylinh Daothi (30) (Hollywood Video store employees) / George and Pauline McDougall (77 and 74) (Zachary's grandparents)

America- Jillian Robbins - 19 - Perpetrator of the Penn State Shooting in Pennsylvania. Happened September 17, 1996. A women nicknamed “Crazy Jill” shot and Killed one student and injured 1 other, before being tackled and subdued. Status: Alive and incarcerated. Victim: Melanie Spalla (19)

America: Susan Eubanks - 32 - Perpetrator of the Eubanks Children Murders. Location: California. Angered over her son’s fathers leaving her, she shot all 4 of her boys before turning the gun on herself. Status: Alive and Sentenced to death. She survived her suicide attempt and was sentenced to death in 1999. Victims: Brandon, 14; Austin, 7; Brigham, 6; and Matthew 4, Eubanks.

America: Natasha Cornett - 18 - Accomplice in the Lillelid Murders. Date: April 6, 1997. Location: Tennesse. Along with Jason Bryant , Dean Mullins, Joseph Risner, Crystal Sturgill, and Karen Howell, the group carjacked the Lillelid Family and executed all of the family members. The sole survivor was the boy of the family. He was left permanently blind in one eye and disabled. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Natasha Cornett is also probably well known for allegedly partaking in strangling a cellmate with Christa Pike- One of America’s most notorious female murderers. Victims:  Norwegian Vidar Lillelid (34), his American wife Delfina (28), and their daughter Tabitha (6)

Finland- Sanna Riitta Liisa Sillanpää - 31 - Committed the Albertinkatu Gun Range Shooting.  Date: February 21, 1999.  in Albertinkatu, Helsinki,  Sanna Shot and killed three men and wounded another man, who received lifetime injuries. She fled the scene and threw her gun in a trash can. Status: Alive and institutionilized. She was found legally insane and is in a mental facility. The shooting club's 23-year-old supervisor, a 25-year-old car mechanic and a 37-year-old car driver

Elizabeth Bush - 14 - Perpetrator of the Bishop Neumann Junior-Senior High School in Nebraska. Happened March 3, 2001. She was originally going to commit suicide, but decided to shot at students who teased her. She injured one before being disarmed by another boy. Status: Alive and Free.

Cathline Repunte - 36 - Perpetrator of the Bus yard shooting in California. Happened on April 23, 2001. Shot and killed 1 of her coworkers and injured 3 others. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. A fact about this shooting is it took place a mile away from the San Jose VTA Shooting by Samuel Cassidy. Victim: Randy Rigdon SR. (48)

Christine Paolillia - 17 -  Committed the Clear Lake Murders along with her boyfriend Christopher Snider. Date: July 18, 2003.  Another Mastermind apparently, who killed her two friends, and her friends boyfriend and cousin in order to get drugs. Her friends had cared for Paolillia, due to her having alopecia. The  two were later apprehended  3 years after the murders, but Christopher took his life to avoid the consequences. Status: Alive and incarcerated. Victims: Tiffany Rowell, 18, Rachael Koloroutis, 18, Marcus Ray Precella, 19, and Adelbert Nicholas Sanchez, 21

Australia: Sally Elizabeth Winters - 32 - Committed The Winter Family Massacre - Date: March 20th, 2005. Armed with a rifle, she killed her husband and two children while they slept. Status: Deceased - committed suicide. A possible motive stemmed from her and her husband’s marital problems as Sally just recently moved back in. Victims: Kasey (3), Jake (4) ,Stephen (32) Winters.

America: Jennifer San Marco - 44 - Perpetrator of the Goleta Post Office Massacre in California. Happened January 30th, 2006. A former postal worker with mental issues who Killed her former neighbor before killing her 6 coworkers. Speculated to be a revenge killing. She is frequently cited to have committed the worst mass shooting by a woman. Status: Deceased - Committed Suicide. Victims: Beverly Graham (54), Ze Fairchild (37), Mekala Higgins (28), Nicola Grant (42), Guadalupe Swartz (52), Dexter Shannon (57), and Charlotte Colton (44)

America: Michelle Kristen Anderson - 29 - committed the Carnation Murders along with her boyfriend Joeseph McEnroe in Washington State. Date: December 24, 2007. Driving to her parents house, She along with McEnroe shot and killed her parents just as her brother arrived with his family, and the duo proceeded to kill Her brother, his wife and two children. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Her parents, Wayne, 60, and Judith Anderson, 61; her brother, Scott, and his wife, Erica, both 32; and the couple's two children, Olivia, 5, and Nathan, 3.

America: Latina Williams - 23 - Perpetrator of the Louisiana Tech Shooting in Louisiana. Happened February 8, 2008. A nursing student with mental issues, who then killed two students. Status: Deceased - Committed Suicide. Victims: Taneshia Butler (26) and Karsheika Graves (21)

America: Amy Bishop - 45 - Committed the University of Alabama Shooting in Alabama. Happened February 12, 2010. A disgruntled professor who shot and killed 3 of her colleagues. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Victims: Gopi Podila (52), Maria Davis (50), and Adriel Johnson (52)

America: Arunya Roach - 41 - Committed the Publix Shooting in Florida. Date: March 10, 2010. A disgruntled worker who was fired after constant abuse from her coworker went back to the store with a handgun and killed him before trying to go to the manager’s office to kill more. She exchanged gunfire with police as they came quickly to the scene. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. She was injured in the shooting and sentenced to life in prison. Victim: Greg Janowski

America: Yvonee Hiller - 43 - Committed the Kraft Factory Shooting in Pennsylvania. Happened September 9, 2010. A disgruntled worker who believed she was being poisoned, shot and killed her two coworkers. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Victims: Tanya Wilson (47) and Latonya Brown (36)

Germany: Sabine  Radmacher - 41 - committed the Lörrach hospital shooting. Date: September 19, 2010. After shooting her estranged husband to death, she then knocked out her 5 year old son and smothered him to death with a plastic bag. She then set the  apartment they lived in on fire. Then she went to Lörrach hospital, where she severely shot two civilians and a police officer. She then entered the hospital, where a male nurse tried to stop her, but was shot and repeatedly stabbed to death. Status: Deceased. Shot 18 times by police. Her case is similar to that of Mark Barton’s rampage at the Atlanta Day Trading Firm.

America: Amanda Bennett - Committed the Bennett Family Massacre. Date: January 21, 2011. On that day, she shot and killed her three children and set the house on fire they lived in. Status: Deceased - Committed suicide. A possible motive was jealous and rage towards her husband’s alleged affair.  Victims: Jasmine Abbott, 14; Katelynn Bennett, 9, and Ryan Bennett, 4

America: Holly Ann Grigsby - 27 - committed the Pacific Northwest Rampage with her boyfriend David Pederson. Date September 26- October 3, 2011. The two white supremacists killed Pederson’s Father and Stepmother in Washington State, a Teenager in Oregon, and a disabled black man in California. It was another “Revolution” similar to the Miller’s killing spree in Las Vegas. They killed the teenager in Oregon due to his name “Sounding Jewish”. Sadly, he was a devout Christian. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Victims: David Jones Pedersen, 56 / Leslie Mae Pedersen, 69 / Cody Faye Myers, 19 / Reginald Alan Clark, 53

America: Susan Hendricks - 48 - committed the Pickens County Massacre - Date: October 14, 2011. Location: South Carolina. Susan Hendricks went to her next door neighbor (who was her ex- husband, and shot and killed him, as well as their two sons, and her ex’s stepmother. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Susan’s motive was to collect insurance money from the deaths. Victims: Matthew, 23, and Marshall Hendricks, 20, ex-husbandMark Wayne Hendricks, 52, and stepmother Linda Ann Burns, 64.

America: Mary Ann Holder - 36 - Perpetrator of the Pleasant Garden Shooting in North Carolina. Happened November 20, 2011. A mother bitter over the end of her affair, shot and killed her eldest son, his girlfriend, her niece and nephew (her nephew and niece were her deceased best friends children she took in), at home while they were sleeping, before driving to meet her affair partner, shooting him, and then picking up her youngest son from a sleepover before shooting him. Her affair partner was the sole survivor. It is speculated she was planning on killing her whole family, as she called her eldest daughter about coming over, but decided not too when her daughter said her husband was there. Status: Deceased- committed suicide after shooting her son. She is the third worst female mass shooter from my research. Victims: Robert Smith (17), Makayla Woods (15), Hannaleigh Suttles (8), Richard Suttles (17), and Zachary Smith (14)

America: Christine Adewunmi - 37 - Committed the Adewunni Family Murders. Date: March 16, 2012. Christine, with a history of mental illness, shot and killed her three daughters in front of the gate of a luxury ranch. Status: Deceased- Committed suicide. Lauren, 8, Samantha, 6, and Kate 3, Adewunmi

America: Angelica Vasquez - 44 - Committed the Vasquez Family Murders in Texas. Date: March 8, 2013. Angelica shot and killed her husband and her two adult children in their own home. Status: Deceased- She committed suicide after doing the deed. No motive has been found or given for the reason why she snapped. Victims: Her husband, Marcelo Vazquez, 44, and their children, Paulina Vazquez, 21, and Alejandro Vazquez, 18

America: Guadalupe Ronquillo Ovalle - 33 - committed the Ronquillo - Alvarez Family Massacre in Texas. Date September 23, 2013. The Abused mother, shot and killed her abusive Husband and also her three children. Her motive is vague and confusing as it seems to stem from her snapping over her husband’s actions. Her husband appeared to have some trouble with the law and her friends said she wasn’t the happy mother they knew. Status: Deceased- Committed Suicide. Victims: Israel Sr. (33), Miseal (10) Cain (8) and Israel Jr.(4) Alvarez.

America: Cherie Lash Rhoades - 44 - Committed the Cedarville Rancheria shooting in Oregon. Date: February 20, 2014. After Being ousted for money laundering, she shot and killed 4 people during her eviction meeting, while wounding two in a knife attack. Status: Alive and on Death Row. She is the only one to be sentenced to death. Victims: Rurik Davis (50), Angel Penn (19), Glenn Calcricco (30), and Sheila Ross (47)

America: Amanda Miller - 22 - Committed the 2014 Las Vegas Shooting along with her Husband in Nevada. Date: June 18, 2014. The couple, expressing anti government views, shot and killed 2 police officers eating lunch at a pizzeria, before going to a Walmart declaring a “Revolution”. A Bystander named Joeseph Wilcox, a conceal and carry carrier,attempted to stop Jared but was ambushed by Amanda, who killed him. Status: Deceased - after exchanging gunfire with the police Jared was killed and she committed suicide. Victims: Igor Solde (31), Alyn Beck (41), and Joeseph Wilcox (31)

America: Jody Herring - 40 - A woman who lost custody of her 9-year-old daughter, killed three relatives in a Vermont home and then headed to a nearby state office and killed  the social worker involved in the custody case. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Victims: Rhonda Herring, 48, and Regina Herring, 43, the suspect's cousins; and 73-year-old Julianne Falzarano, An aunt. Lara Sobel 48 - the Social Worker.

America: Tashfeen Malik - 29 - Committed the San Bernardino Massacre in California with her Husband. Date: December 2nd, 2015. Along with her Husband Rizwan Farook, during a Christmas party at a regional center for disabled people, shot and killed 14 people and injured 22 more, along with Farook. After escaping they were chased by the police and exchanged gunfire. Status: Deceased- Shot by Cops along with Farook. She is usually considered the worst Female shooter.

Victims: Giovanni James Gambino, 40, Geoffrey Glenn Gilliland, 39, and Stephanie Lynn Sanchez, 33

America: Courtney Taylor - 44 - Committed the Taylor Family Murders in Kentucky. Date: January 17, 2017. She killed her husband and two daughters due to her “not wanting them to live without a mother.” She killed them basically because she wanted to commit suicide. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. She was sentenced to life in prison. Victims: Larry (56), Jessie (18), and Jolee (13) Taylor.

America: Nasim Aghdam - 38 - committed the Youtube Headquarters shooting in California. Date: April 3, 2018. Dissatisfied after losing views and not gaining money from her videos, went to the headquarters and shot and injured 3 employees. Status: Deceased- Committed suicide after she was done shooting.

America: Kristine Peralez - 38 - committed the Ben E. Keith distribution center shooting in Texas. Date: August 20, 2018. Peralez shot up her workplace, killing her manager and injuring one of her colleagues. She was subsequently shot by police. Her motive is unknown. Status: Deceased. Died of her injuries from the gunfire she exchanged with police. Victim: Francisco Reyes

America: Snochia Mosley - 26 - Committed the Aberdeen Shooting in Maryland. Date: September 20, 2018. A part time worker at a Rite Aid Distribution center who snapped and killed 3 of her coworkers and injured 3 others. Status: Deceased- Committed Suicide. Victims: Sunday Aguda (41), Brindra Girl (41), and Hayleen Reyes (21)

Audrey Hale (2023) and Solomon Henderson (2025)

B - On March 27, 2023, Audrey Hale went to the Covenant School in Nashville, and killed 3 staff members and 3 students. She was killed by the police immediately, stopping anymore people from dying.

A - On January 22, 2025, Solomon Henderson brought a gun to Antioch High School, where he killed one student before committing suicide.

B - On June 8, 2017, Randy Stair went to the Weis Markets where he was employed and shot and killed his 3 coworkers before killing himself.

A - On September 25, 1982, George Emil Banks committed one of the worst family annihilations and worst mass shooting in Pennsylvania. He drove to two different locations and killed multiple family members including an innocent bystander. He was apprehended and incarcerated.

A - On October 2, 2006, Charles Robert IV, held Amish School girls hostage killing 5 girls in the incident with one succumbing to their wounds in 2024. He committed suicide.

B- On October 30, 1985, Sylvia Seegrist in dressed in Camo, shot and killed a toddler and two senior citizens. She was apprehended and incarcerated in a mental facility.

A - On October 24, 2015, After leaving her shift at Freddy’s, she went through 3 barricades and a police motorcycle, before mowing down injuring 47 people and killing 4 people: A transfer student, and Elderly Husband and Wife, and a Toddler. She was apprehended and incarcerated.

B - On August 20, 1986, Patrick Sherrill went to his place of work and killing 14 of his coworkers before committing suicide. It is the deadliest Workplace shooting.

5th Slide: Goleta Post office Massacre, and the Isla Vista Attacks of 2001 and 2014. All a ten minute drive from each other.

Perpetrators: Jennifer San Marco (2006), David Attias (2001), and Elliot Rodger (2014)

A - On January 30th, 2006, Jennifer San Marco first shot and killed her neighbor, before heading to her place of work and killing her 6 former colleagues. She committed suicide after her attack.

B - On February 23, 2001, David Attias drove his car into a crowd of 5 people, killing them. He was incarcerated into a mental facility.

C - On May 23, 2014, Elliot Rodger killed his two roommates and their friend, before going to a sorority and shooting 3 women, killing 2. He then drove around Isla Vista, shooting at people and killing one in a deli. He then crashed his car into a bicyclist and committed suicide.

6th Slide: The VTA Shooting, the Laidlow Busyard Shooting, and the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting.

Perpetrators: Samuel Cassidy (2021), Cathline Repunte (2001), and Santino Legan (2019). VTA and Laidlow Shooting occurred across the streets from each other while the festival happened an hour away.

C- On May 26, 2021, Samuel Cassidy went to his workplace and shot and killed 9 coworkers before committing suicide.

B- On April 23, 2001, Cathline Repunte went to her former workplace and shot and killed one of her former colleagues and wounding two others. She is incarcerated.

A - On July 28, 2019, Santino Legan went to the Gilroy Garlic festival wounding 17 people, and killed 3. Two of the victims were children. He committed suicide after a shootout with police.

7th Slide: The Fort Hood Shootings of 2009 and 2014 and the Luby’s Massacre. About 30 minutes away from each location.

Perpetrators: Nidal Hasan (2009), Ivan A. Lopez-Lopez (2014) and George Hennerd. (1991)

B - On November 9th, 2009, Nidal Hasan shot and killed 14 of his colleagues before being shot by police. He survived and is on Death Row. 5 years later, Ivan Lopez shot and killed 3 of his colleagues at the same location on April 2, 2014. He committed suicide.

A - On October 16, 1991, George Hennerd rammed his pickup truck into a Luby’s Restaurant and killing 23 people at point blank range. After a shootout with police, he committed suicide.

8th Slide: This ones a doozy since I couldn’t get points this time: The Chuck E. Cheese Massacre, The Columbine High School Massacre, The Aurora Theater Shooting, The Stem School Shooting, The King Soopers Shooting, and the Evergreen High Shooting. Evergreen, Stem, and Columbine are about 30 minutes close with them being about 5 miles away from the Aurora Massacres while King Soopers is about 1 hour away From Aurora.

Perpetrators: Nathan Dunlap (1993), Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold (1999), James Holmes (2012), Devon Erickson and Alec Mckinney (2019), Ahmad Al Aliwi Al-Issa (2021), and Desmond Holly (2025).

On December 14th, 1993, Nathan Dunlap went to his former workplace of Chuck E. Cheese, and killed 4 of his former coworkers and critically injured one. He was captured and is incarcerated.

On April 20th, 1999, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris Committed one of the most infamous massacres in American History being the Columbine High School Massacre. They killed 12 students and a teacher, before committing suicide. One of the initial survivors succumbed to her injuries in 2025.

On July 20th, 2012, James Holmes shot up a theater showing the Dark Knight and killed 12 people and injured over 70 others. He was captured and incarcerated.

On May 7th, 2019, Devon Erickson and Alec Mckinney went to Stem High School and injured 6 students and killed one trying to stop the rampage. They were both captured and are incarcerated.

On March 22, 2021, Ahmad Al Aliwi Al-Issa went to a king soopers grocery store and killed 10 people. He was arrested and incarcerated.

On September 10, 2025, Desmond Holly went to Evergreen High School and critically injured 2 students before committing suicide. No one died besides Holly.

These are the perpetrators of the deadliest vehicle attacks/homicides in America. These are ones covered in the news/have had an impact in the U.S. From left to right are the order of the perpetrators. And from left to right to bottom are the list of similar vehicles they used in the murders. The last one is the Truck used in the New Orleans attack If there are any I missed please tell me. This might not be to scale but these are ones like before have had change on the U.S and been broadcasted.

10 - Adacia Chambers - 25 - Perpetrator of the Oklahoma State University Homecoming Parade Attack. Date: October 24, 2015. Location: Oklahoma. Chambers drove her gray 2014 Hyundai Elantra, into several barriers used to block off commuter traffic and then proceeded to hit approximately 50 parade spectators,  before stopping when its two front tires popped the curb on the southwest corner of the intersection where the parade was at. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. She was immediately arrested and plead no contest to second degree murder and assault and was sentenced to life in prison. Victims: Nikita Prabhaker Nakal (23), Nash Lucas (2), and husband and wife Marvin and Bonnie Stone (Both 65)

9 - Ethan Couch - 16 - Main reason why “Affluenza” is used. Date June 15, 2013. Couch while intoxicated and under the influence of drugs, was driving on a restricted license and speeding in a residential area when he lost control of his vehicle, which slammed into a group of people assisting another driver with a disabled car. The collision sent four people flying and killing them instantly and  injured nine others. Status: Alive and Free. In a 6 year period of fleeing from his actions he was sent to prison for 2 years and was released in 2018. Victims: Breanna Mitchell (24), Brian Jennings (43), and Mother and Daughter Hollie and Shelby Boyles (51 and 21)

8 - Melissa Marvin - 29 - Caused the Kill Devil Hills Crash. Date: April 6, 1999. Location: North Carolina. A waitress with a history of drunk driving and getting away with it, while drunk struck a car with her Mitsubishi Montero, killing four teenagers and injuring one that were from NJ and came to NC to go to a concert. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. She was sentenced to 60 years in prisons for the teens deaths. The case was huge back then and brought attention to drunk driving. I believe it lead to many laws in NC’s driving laws. Victims: Amanda Geiger, Angie McGrady, Megan Blong, and Shana Lawler. All 17

7 - David Attias - 18 - Perpetrator of the 2001 Isla Vista Killings. Date: February 23, 2001. Location: California. The son of television director Dan Attias, drove his father's 1991 Saab 900  at a speed of 50 to 65 miles per hour killing four pedestrians and critically injured a fifth who later succumbed to his injuries in 2016. He later jumped out of his car proclaiming he’s the “Angel of Death.” Status: Alive and Facilitated. He was found to be intoxicated and high, but it did not play a factor in his sentencing due to him being insane. He was sent to a hospital where he is currently today. Victims: Nicholas Bourdakis (20), Christopher Divis (20), Elie Isreal (27) and Brother and Sister, Albert and Ruth Levy (20 and 42 when Albert Died.)

6 - Darrell Brooks - 39 - Perpetrator of the Waukesha Christmas parade attack - Date: November 21, 2021. Location: Wisconsin. On the day of November 21st, 2021, Darrell Brooks drove his Ford Escape into the annual Waukesha Christmas Parade, injuring 62 people and killing 6 people, 4 being part of the Dancing Grannies, a group compising of mainly grandmothers, one of the performer groups in the parade.  He did it after a fight with his girlfriend I believe. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Police soon caught him trying to flee from the scene and After a very long, polarizing, weird, and very intense trial, he was sentenced to 6 consecutive life sentences and 726 years. Victims: Jackson Sparks (8), Wihelm Hospel (81), Leanna Owen (71), Jane Kulich (52), Tamara Durand (52) and Virginia Sorenson (79).

5 - Priscilla Ford - 52 - Perpetrator of the Reno Thanksgiving Parade Massacre -  Date: November 27, 1980. Location: Nevada. On Thanksgiving Day, Priscilla Ford drove her Ford Continental into the parade trying to kill as much people as she can. She injured 23 and killed 5, with 1 succumbing to their injuries shortly after and another one who succumbed a year later. Status: Died while on Death Row.  She was sentenced to Death in 81 I believe, but was on death row for 24 years afterwards. She died of emphysema in 2005 due to being a heavy smoker in her life. Victims: Iva Britain (80), John Koschella (60), Jolene Cranmer (20), Joesephine Starkley (53, and Paul Nitzel (Age Unknown).  I havent been able to find The other two victims. If anyone knows the names It would be appreciated greatly.

4 - Judy Kirby - 32 - Caused the Ind.67 Crash - Date: March 25, 2000. Suffering from depression, Kirby, along with her three children and nephew, were in her 1989 Pontiac Firebird,  when she entered Ind. 67 on March 25, 2000, going in the wrong direction. Witnesses said Kirby appeared to make no attempt to stop or turn around after she ran southbound motorists off the highway. Other drivers scattered, but after nearly two miles Kirby's car ran head-on into a van driven by Thomas Reel. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. She was found guilty of intentionally driving in the wrong direction and was sentenced to 215 years in prison. Victims: Jacob  (5),  Joney, (9), and Jordan Kirby, (12),  Jeremy Young, (10),  The driver of the other van, Thomas (40),  Bradley (13),  and Jesica Reel ( 14).

3 - Diane Schuler - 36 -  Caused the Taconic State Parkway Crash - Date: July 26, 2009. Intoxicated, She drove her Ford Windster the wrong way into traffic colliding into a SUV. Status: Deceased- She died in the impact along with her Daughter, her two nieces, and the three occupants in the SUV. Her son was the sole survivor. Victims: Alison Hance (7), Kate Hance (5), Emma Hance (9), Erin Schuler (2), Father and son Micheal and Guy Bastardi (81 and 49), and Dan Longo (74).

2 - Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov - 29 - Perpetrator of the New City Truck Attack. Date October 31, 2017.  Inspired to do a terrorist attack, He drove a rented Home depot pickup truck into a group of cyclists and runners on the Hudson Rivers Bike path before crashing into a school bus for disabled children he then held two guns (later revealed to be a paintball gun and pellet gun) before he was disarmed.Eight people were killed, with  six of whom were foreign tourists, with 5 of the victims being part of a school reunion. thirteen others were injured in the attack. Status: Alive and Incarcerated. Was sentenced to 260 years in prison. Victims: Diego Angelini (47), Ariel Erlij (48), Hernan Ferruchi (47), Hernan Diego Merdoza (47), Alejandro Pagnucco (47), Ann Laure Decadt (31), Darren Drake (32) and Nicholas Cleves (23).

1 - Shamsud-Din Jabbar -42 - Perptrator of the New Orleans Truck Attack - Date: January 1st, 2025. Location: Louisiana. A  Terrorist attack occurred on New Years Day in New Orleans on Bourbon Street when he rammed his Ford Lighting Pickup Truck into a crowd killing 14 and injuring 52 before having a shootout with police. Status: Deceased - Killed by police. Victims:

It is currently the deadliest vehicle attack in the US.

This case has always fascinated me looking up female mass murderers. None of the posts I’ve looked at had in-depth detail, but I was able to find more information on it. Hope its okay.

This is the complete case of Dong Yangling, The Fuzhuo Factory Arsonist. She is one of the world’s worst mass murderers outside of terrorism and war. One of the most notable aspects is shes a woman. The crime takes place in Fuzhuo, China, a province of Fuijan.

She was born in 1974, in the Chengxiang, a District of Fuijan, China. Her family were merchants, but weren’t able to make enough money from it. Because of it Dong had to drop of Elementary School due to the family’s financial problems to pay for her tuition. Do to being short on money, they would basically take advantage of their friends in return for a small amount of money that would be lost shortly after. The family was selfish and greedy, often alienating their friends because of it. The Yangling’s didn’t mind since they took pleasure in their selfishness. Dong was influenced by her parents, selfishness and greed and took it to heart. Over time, she also developed the habit of being greedy and being selfish. For example, when she went to a relative's house, she would always ask for money. When she brought something home, her relatives thought she was just a child, so they didn't say anything. Meaning they just dismissed her behavior since she was a child and didnt correct it. Dong’s parents did not criticize her behavior, but actually praised the destructive act.

Over time, Dong would try to apply for Jobs, only to be fired afterwards, mainly because of her greed.

 “After growing up, because of this bad habit, I changed many jobs. Because of my dishonesty, no boss wanted such an employee, so I was always fired.” - Dong Yangling. 

 Her parents soon paid one of their relatives to find a job for Dong, leading her to work at the Fuzhuo Textile Factory, as a yarn spinner. Surprisingly, Dong loved her job at first and was a very hard worker. Though her bad habits would surface eventually. She was also unable to make much friends there due to her domineering and unreasonable personality. Dong started taking small scraps of fabric and other textiles at work, and began selling them with the help of her mother. Dong’s mother praised her daughter for her thievery as Mrs. Yangling processed the scraps for sale. Dong became more and more sly and arrogant with her crime. She would then start to bring a large bag to work every day, and would bring home a large amount of cotton at night. Dong would even sabotage her own work, deliberately spinning the yarn the wrong way, (large amounts) so it could be scrapped and she would be able to sell it. This happened very often, leading to the amount of workers need for the job to drop, due to the amount of product being scrapped. This made the workers furious and unhappy because of her behavior. Due to this, many reported her hoping she’d straighten out. The director apparently knew about this and many times he let her off scot free. There were many factors to this: 1, she was a relative of one of the employees (assuming higher up if she got of scot free), 2, because she was a teen, and 3, because she was a lower wage worker and the others were higher wage.

However one faithful day (assuming December 12) a large shipment of acrylic yarn was missing, making the director shocked. He found out it was Dong who stole it and was much more confrontational about it.

 “You usually just take some scraps, but this is a shipment that is going to be sent out, it is very important, please return the package of acrylic yarn quickly.” - The Director

 Dong took this the wrong way, and thought he was intimidating her, so Dong  relied on the power of her distant relatives and did not pay attention to the factory director at all. She waved her hands indifferently and said that it was impossible to get it back because it had been sold. He finally had enough of Dong and immediately fired her. Dong was seething from this. She felt like she didn’t anything wrong and that the director had no right to fire her. This bitter resentment began the point of no return for Dong Yangling.

The Fire

On the early morning of December 13, 1993, at 3:50 A:M, Dong Yangling quietly slipped into the factory with a pack of matches. She walked over to the warehouse where the cotton was before striking a match and throwing it on the cotton. She stood there for a few minutes watching the fire consume the cotton. It later spread and she escaped out of fear of dying in the fire. The fire soon spread throughout the factory around 4:15 A:M,  causing treacherous damage. An alarm was set off around 4:36 alerting firefighters to the scene. The fire was at its fiercest, as firefighters had to use water cannons to subdue the blaze. The fire started to subside around 6:30 A:M before being extinguished at 7:00 A:M. They were able to rescue 34 women from the factory with 8 of them injured. Sadly, 61 women died in the fire. They suffocated from the fumes from the burning textiles, as they slept in their dormitory. The damage and cost of the fire was about  3.036 Million Yuan about 500,000$ in U.S Money.

 It took about two days to investigate the cause of the fire as they ruled out electrical problems and cigarette butts. They were able to trace it to Dong Yangling, and arrested her on December 15. She didn’t confess to the crime at first, but as she was being tried on January 14, 1994, she immediately confessed, saying she did it on impulse and didn’t expect someone would die from it. She also said if they didn’t fire her, she wouldn’t have done it. Dong Yangling was soon sentenced to death. Her execution was swift as the police took her out from the courtroom and immediately shot and killed her. Her last words were “Unjust!”

A few of them are family annihilators but I think since a gun was used (annihilations use other types of weapons I presume?) it’s considered a mass murder or shooting.

Lafonda Foster (23) and Tina Powell (28) - Committed the Lexington Massacre -Date: April 23, 1986. Both Girlfriends whom On a drug fueled rampage and in a desperate search for more drugs, killed five friends in an attempt to cash in one of the victims social security checks, before stabbing, shooting, 4 of them before running over another. Status: Foster - Alive and Sentenced  to Death and Recommuted to life. Powell -  Alive and Incarcerated 

Elizabeth Teague - 30 - Commited the Eveready battery plant in Bennington shooting in Missouri. Date: October 30, 1991.  A Mentally ill woman shot and killed her for boss and wounded two of her coworkers. Status: Alive and Incarcerated 

Laura Jeanne Taylor (16) and Heather Matthews (20) committed the Dayton Ohio Murders in Ohio along with Heather’s boyfriend DeMarcus Maurice Smith, and Laura’s boyfriend Marvallous Matthew Keene. Date: December 24-26, 1992. A gang who robbed and or silenced 6 people on a shooting rampage. Status: Both Alive and Incarcerated. Laura, Heather, and DeMarcus were sentenced to live in prison, while Marvallous was Executed in 2009.

Angela Jane Johnson - 29 - Committed the Iowa Murders in Iowa with her Boyfriend. Date July 24, 1993. In an attempt to derail a drug investigation, Angela along with her boyfriend Dustin Honken, killed a man, his girlfriend and her two daughters. Status: Alive and Incarcerated

Antoinette Frank - 24 - Committed the Kim Ahn Murders in Louisiana along with her boyfriend, Rogers LaCaze. Date: March 3-4 1995. Unlike the rest of the woman who were accomplices, she was actually the mastermind apparently considering some sources and her harsher punishment. She shot and killed two restaurant workers and a security guard before fleeing the scene and coming back as - a police officer to investigate the scene. Yes she was a Cop. Status: Alive and sentenced to death.

Esther Beckley - 40 - Committed the Hollywood Video Murders with her boyfriend Shane Harrison in New Mexico. Date: March 3, 1996. Considered the worst crime in New Mexico’s history, three Hollywood Video Employees were gunned down in the backroom of the store. Later cousins of the male victim, Zachary Blacklock, revealed that their grandparents were going to pick up Zachary but have not returned home. A couple later found the grandparents- executed in the mountains. Status: Alive and Incarcerated- Blabbing to her former lover about her crimes, he turned her and Shane in to get the reward money for information on the murders (93,000$). Shane did most of the killing, but it’s speculated that Esther may have also killed the grandparents with Shane due to their being two types of guns that killed them, but in exchange for testimony against Shane, they charged her for being an accessory.

Christine Paolillia - 17 -  Committed the Clear Lake Murders along with her boyfriend Christopher Snider In Texas. Date: July 18, 2003.  Another Mastermind apparently, who killed her two friends, and her friends boyfriend and cousin in order to get drugs. The two were later apprehended  3 years after the murders, but Christopher took his life to avoid the consequences. Status: Alive and incarcerated.

Michelle Kristen Anderson - 29 - committed the Carnation Murders along with her boyfriend Joeseph McEnroe in Washington State. Date: December 24, 2007. Driving to her parents house, She along with McEnroe shot and killed her parents just as her brother arrived with his family, and the duo proceeded to kill Her brother, his wife and two children. Status: Alive and Incarcerated.

Holly Ann Grigsby - 27 - committed the Pacific Northwest Rampage with her boyfriend David Pederson. Date September 26- October 3, 2011. They killed Pederson’s Father and Stepmother in Washington State, a Teenager in Oregon, and a Woman in California. It was another “Revolution” similar to the Miller’s killing spree in Las Vegas. Status: Alive and Incarcerated.

Guadalupe Ronquillo Ovalle - 33 - committed the Navaro Murders in Texas. Date September 23, 2013. Guadalupe shot and killed her Husband, and three children. Her motive is vague and confusing. Her husband appeared to have some trouble with the law and her friends said she wasn’t the happy mother they knew. Status: Deceased- Committed Suicide.

These cases include much younger female perpetrators aging in their twenties and some being teens, with a majority of them hailing from the 20th century. Also some of them are the main perpetrator with the boyfriend being the accomplice. Unlike the previous list, only a few have mental illness (Guadalupe and Elizabeth). The rest have despicable reasons for their acts.

Brenda Spencer - 16-  Perpetrator of the Cleavland Elementary School Shooting in California. Happened January 29, 1979. Killed the Principal and Custodian and injuried 7 kids. Was bored apparently and decided to do the shooting. Status: Alive and Incarcerated 

Sylvia Seegrist - 25 - Perpetrator of the Springfield Mall Shooting in Pennsylvania. October 30, 1985. Killed a toddler and two senior citizens. A mentally ill woman with a fascination of the military and James Huberty. Status: Alive and Incarcerated 

Heather Smith - 14 - Perpetrator of the Spanaway High School Shooting in Washington State.Date: November 26, 1985. Killed her Boyfriend after dumping her and also killed his best friend who was trying to protect him. It was later revealed that Heather was pregnant. She is the youngest known female mass shooter.

Status: Deceased - Committed Suicide after exchanging gunfire with the police.

Laurie Dann - 30 - Perpetrator of the Winnetka Rampage in Illinois. Delivered poisoned snacks, Shot 6 kids at a school killing one, and taking a family hostage.

Status: Deceased - Committed Suicide.

Jillian Robbins - 19 - Perpetrator of the Penn State Shooting in Pennsylvania. Happened September 17, 1996. Killed one student and injured 1 other. Status: Alive and incarcerated.

Elizabeth Bush - 14 - Perpetrator of the Bishop Neumann Junior-Senior High School in Nebraska. Happened March 3, 2001. She was originally going to commit suicide, but decided to shot at students who teased her. She injured one before being disarmed by another boy. Status: Alive

Cathline Repunte - 36 - Perpetrator of the Bus yard shooting in California. Happened on April 23, 2001. Shot and killed 1 of her coworkers and injured 3 others. Status: Alive and Incarcerated.

Jennifer San Marco - 44 - Perpetrator of the Goleta Post Office Massacre in California. Happened January 30th, 2006. A former postal worker with mental issues who Killed her former neighbor before killing her 6 coworkers. Speculated to be a revenge killing. She is frequently cited to have committed the worst mass shooting by a woman. Status: Deceased - Committed Suicide.

Latina Williams - 23 - Perpetrator of the Louisiana Tech Shooting in Louisiana. Happened February 8, 2008. A nursing student with mental issues, who then killed two students. Status: Deceased - Committed Suicide.

Amy Bishop - 45 - Committed the University of Alabama Shooting in Alabama. Happened February 12, 2010. A disgruntled professor who shot and killed 3 of her colleagues. Status: Alive and Incarcerated.

Yvonee Hiller - 43 - Committed the Kraft Factory Shooting in Pennsylvania. Happened September 9, 2010. A disgruntled worker who believed she was being poisoned, shot and killed her two coworkers. Status: Alive and Incarcerated.

Mary Ann Holder - 36 - Perpetrator of the Pleasant Garden Shooting in North Carolina. Happened November 20, 2011. A mother bitter over the end of her affair, shot and killed her eldest son, his girlfriend, her niece and nephew, at home while they were sleeping, before driving to meet her affair partner, shooting him, and then picking up her youngest son from a sleepover before shooting him. Her affair partner was the sole survivor. Status: Deceased- committed suicide after shooting her son. She is the third worst female mass shooter from my research.

Cherie Lash Rhoades - 44 - Committed the Cedarville Rancheria shooting in Oregon. Date: February 20, 2014. After Being ousted for money laundering, she shot and killed 4 people during her eviction meeting, while wounding two in a knife attack. Status: Alive and on Death Row. She is the only one to be sentenced to death.

Amanda Miller - 22 - Committed the 2014 Las Vegas Shooting along with her Husband in Nevada. Date: June 18, 2014. The couple, expressing anti government views, shot and killed 2 police officers eating lunch at a pizzeria, before going to a Walmart declaring a “Revolution”. A Bystander named Joeseph Wilcox, a conceal and carry carrier,attempted to stop Jared but was ambushed by Amanda, who killed him. Status: Deceased - after exchanging gunfire with the police Jared was killed and she committed suicide.

Tashfeen Malik - 29 - Committed the San Bernardino Massacre in California with her Husband. Date: December 2nd, 2015. Along with her Husband Rizwan Farook, during a Christmas party at a regional center for disabled people, shot and killed 14 people and injured 22 more, along with Farook. After escaping they were chased by the police and exchanged gunfire. Status: Deceased- Shot by Cops along with Farook. She is usually considered the worst Female shooter.

Nasim Aghdam - 38 - committed the Youtube Headquarters shooting in California. Date: April 3, 2018. Dissatisfied after losing views and not gaining money from her videos, went to the headquarters and shot and injured 3 employees. Status: Deceased- Committed suicide after she was done shooting.

Snochia Mosley - 26 - Committed the Aberdeen Shooting in Maryland. Date: September 20, 2018. A part time worker at a Rite Aid Distribution center who snapped and killed 3 of her coworkers and injured 3 others. Status: Deceased- Committed Suicide.

Francine Graham - 50 - Committed the Jersey City Shooting along with her boyfriend, in New Jersey. Date: December 7-10, 2019. Graham and her boyfriend, David Anderson, shot a detective before going to a kosher store killing the owner, an employee, and a customer. They also killed a man days before the shooting. She is the oldest known female mass shooter from my research.

Audrey Hale - 28 - Committed the Covenant School Shooting in Tennessee. Date: March 27, 2023. After feeling like she had nothing left to lose and after years of not letting go of her childhood, decided to commit a school shooting to achieve infamy. She shot the custodian first, three students and the substitute teacher second, before being confronted by the headmaster and killing her instantly. Status: Deceased - After hearing of an active shooter, police officers stormed the school and immediately took out Audrey. Most of the people she shot were surprisingly alive, but later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. She is the second worst female mass shooter from my research. 

Natalie “Samantha” Rupnow

Committed the Abundant Life Christian School Shooting In Wisconsin. Date: December 16, 2024. After being radicalized on the internet and having an obsession with Columbine, went to her school killing her substitute teacher and her classmate and injuring 6 others. Status: Deceased- Committed Suicide.

Usual age for female mass shooters 20s-40

 Most of them seem to take place on the West Coast and East Coast of America with the few exceptions being in the middle. Most female mass shooters suffer from mental health problems. Any other female shooter I miss?
